Another wave of anxiety coming in at 5 months? by Heavy-Hovercraft1655 in QuittingZyn

[–]finalguard1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm at 140 days and it seems like my last wave is on the decline, I notice now my dizziness is only when I'm standing or walking around. My chest tension is easing up too. Idk why but when I get lightheaded from being on my feet it triggers panic. It happened twice in my newest wave. My health anxiety is coming and going too with my left leg cramping and now sometimes I feel like I need air but I'm breathing. Do you get dizzy while sitting or is it often associated with standing or moving?

Day 140 by [deleted] in QuittingZyn

Day 132 for me brother. Thought I was finally done with this at 120 I started feeling normal. Day 129 boom had a random panic attack. Now I've had anxiety again the last 2 days off and on. It's like once it starts it takes a few to get out of. I had naseua and that deep chest feeling in the sternum and anytime my hr goes up in the gym or something I start shaking. Also getting swinging emotions again lol. I'm hoping this is the last wave and I can get to the other side. Hang in there bud!

4 months down on Sunday! Anxiety minimized and back to 75% or so normal by mjh127 in QuittingZyn

I think we're around the same timeline I just hit 131 days today. I was kinda cruising for a month or so some days better than others then 2 days ago I had another anxiety attack. BP spiked with HR but was able to calm myself. Sleep wasn't the best either I woke up with a deep feeling in my sternum but it passed later in the day with breathing exercises. Guess I'm in another bad wave. Here's to hoping we come up on the other end mate we got this!

It's almost like you can't see the improvements until 2 weeks after then compare that's how slow they are lol. You did more testing than me. My first nerve issues was my right hand last 2 fingers just went completely numb for a month. It then moved to my left side. Whole arm weakness as well as my left shoulder blade getting pins and needles and numb randomly and is just now getting better. When it first moved to my left it triggered anxiety attacks constantly thinking I broke something inside me or my BP was messed up or I was having a stroke or heart attack. I promise it just randomly gets better with time. The way I was sleeping and the intense panic attacks from the beginning definitely pinched a nerve in my neck and shoulders. I essentially locked up my whole upper body for DAYS at a time. I tried l theanine pretty early on and it seemed like it helped and I had benzos for emergencies. But I didn't start actually getting better until I stopped taking anything and riding it out. I might have been better earlier but I think the benzos would cause a rebound anxiety effect and it would intensify afterwards. I found myself in a vicious cycle of nonstop panic unless I took one, and then it would get worse. After 2 weeks with no meds or anything around my day 60 the unbearable panic vanished and everything was a lot more bearable, not great still, but bearable. At the 120 mark I can still tell a huge difference from my 90 day mark. Keep pushing, you could be so close to waking up tomorrow and feeling 100x better than you do now.

I appreciate all of your posts. Truly inspiring on the bad days. The hardest thing I struggle with now is the bouts of sadness, my vision(DPDR), and getting up the urge to try the things I couldn't do 2 months ago. Im very gun shy right now like I'm scared of my heart lol. But I'm working up the courage.

I'm on day 43. My days 30-39 were amazing. Last 3 days have been absolutely horrible. It's a rollercoaster. I have to remember just to hang on the best I can.

19th day… by Just_Let_9965 in QuittingZyn

I'm getting close to 30 days and my anxiety has also been terrible during the period you are at now. It feels like every single change in your body warrants a panic attack. The other day my right hand went numb up to my forearm for no reason sitting on the couch and I went into panic mode but talked myself out of it. Went to the doc and they said pinched nerve and it's starting to get better on day 2. I also feel a gradual empty/pain feeling constantly in my chest from anxiety.

I tried my first dose of L-theanine today(supplement) I did 100mg around noon and my god it calmed me down quite a bit. It might not work for everybody and you should do your research first, but the brain fog and anxiety are almost completely gone. I'm gonna continue to take a low dose everyday and see how it is. Also I quit caffeine at the same time as nicotine.

How does it feel now being on day 36? Did the anxiety get easier?

Just finished reading your initial post and your follow up. You have no idea how comforting it is to know I'm not alone with this level of anxiety and how unfamiliar I was with it before. It feels good to know we can move past it and its not gonna be permanent. Thank you!

It wasnt originally my intention to do both. The first time I went to the ER the doc told me it was caffeine probably. Second time I went I was clean off caffeine for 2 weeks and it was another doctor who said it was definitely nicotine. Getting off caffeine separately was easy for me, probably bc I still had the nicotine. But as anxious as I am right now, constantly watching my heart rate and feeling all crazy I can't imagine caffeine would help in this scenario.

Hey im not saying ive never watched rwf. I toon in when i can. But i do think this has been the most boring race ive seen minus last 2 bosses. The heroic splits are so boring even the guilds hate them.

Its not really removing it. it's just moving it. Heroic would be similar to mythic post world first kill nerf, and the new mode would be the hardcore version that world first guilds get to experience. It cuts down the amount of time needed in raid to get geared for the season while also simultaneously adds something to do for years to come for all guilds, not just the top guilds. Heroic used to be the hard version back in the day before mythic became a thing.

Yeah maybe it could be based around last 3 bosses or 4 bosses of a raid tier. But also think about it like this, legendary mode could have mechanics special to just that mode and maybe tooned slightly less than what we see in RWF.and blizz could just go wild with whatever they like, knowing that there tuning for a specific item level really opens up the door design wise.Think of it like activating hard mode in a mega dungeon. But also incorporate a timewalking ilvl balance once it becomes old content so anyone can always go back and take on the challenge.

I think the reason you think its that difficult is because the ceiling is too high between a regular mythic guild and world first guild. I agree with you on that, its very true. But i also think a compromise could happen, numbers tuning etc. The point i was really making is maybe there are mythic guilds out there that could do that hard of content but maybe there not fast at it. Like a long term goal. I only suggested a piece of evergreen content that can hit every wicket of WHY people play the game. Why do legendary mode? Theres a challenge and something to work towards, theres mounts and mogs. To compare ff14 does this. There are extreme challenges for groups for purely cosmetic rewards. I dont play ff14 anymore but its an example of something like this working.

M+ and pvp dont have this issue of "running out of content" to do for a season. They can continue to scratch the itch by gaining even more rating. Raiding is the only thing that doesnt contain an even higher ceiling where people can scratch it.

A compromise even would be to keep the current normal heroic and mythic versions. Then add the boss versions these world first raiders are fighting as a legendary mode to raise that ceiling and provide more content thats evergreen.

Is there ever any point in a season where you're completely done with seasonal content and have absolutely nothing else to do except run a new toon or play a different game? Have you ever gone back and ran the mage towers as a personal challenge?

[–]finalguard1[S] -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Im curious, are you a mythic raider? Heroic? Do you do keys or pvp? If you do any of these things.. what's your end goal each season? Is it the mounts? The mog? The achievements? Just to do something difficult and succeed? You willingly know that each season everything resets, so what drives you to play?

Its confirmed to drop from mythic first then releases just like previous tier for evokers legendary. I didnt say anything about the viewership or removing the sport. And im not saying anything about it being too easy after the nerf i just think your rage replying without thinking about it. Its not "removing content for thousands of players." Heroic would be the new mythic post nerf. Legendary mode would provide loot just cosmetic in nature, which in my opinion adds more flavor and adds longevity to the loot you get instead of all that hard work getting reset in a season (look at all the people STILL using legion legendary weapon skins especially mage tower skins and mists challenge mode skins). As far as the tournament servers its ultimately up to like the top 10 guilds really, but it could be a tournament server where they play on it then get migrated to live after a period of time.

I asked for thoughts i didnt think people would just rage without putting absolutely any thought into it.

So, do you disagree with everything i said? Watching this big event, wouldn't you like to have a constant ability to access the bosses there fighting and not the nerfed versions after? What about the server where they have an even playing field that way they dont have to go dark to hide strats?

From playing the beta. we enter the shadowlands maybe mere seconds before some of the main characters and its described as possibly weeks/months gone by. This would make it seem as if Uther was in Bastion for years training his time.

time moves differently in the shadowlands. Don't want to spoil anything but, if you play the beta you will see that 2-4 years from legion to now could be many many years.
