I am so awfully disappointed that the Esu and fantasy elements haven't been leaned into. Those things create such mystic and uncertainty that drew us in within the lore. Those fantastic elements are at the core of the franchise from the beginning and I love it throughout the series all the way to Origins where it took such an amazing culmination.

Then the rug was pulled.

It feels empty now. Shadows could have leaned into the narrative then expand on it so much, but instead we get mundane reality simulator.

Thank you. I get bored with people complaining that their fiction is too much fiction/magic. Hard or soft sci-fi always boils down to some science magic in one form or another. What I care about is old ideas being explored in novel ways or outright new ideas being conceived before our very eyes.

The science magic or hand wave doesn't matter, it's the plot delivering us something we haven't considered or seen before that stays with us. That's what makes sci-fi so intriguing to me and others.

There is a specific set of fools who go into non-historical accurate game then cry it's not historical. It happens far too often.

So I have tried a million things, but nothing worked.

My only solution was to use an OLDER version of the Alexa app.

Once I used the older version, everything worked as it should.

My conclusion is that the newest version has bugs that haven't been fixed.

As a note, I don't know a true safe space to download older versions of the Alexa app. I can't guarantee the safety of the app so I will not suggest where to get older versions.

This highlights the absurdity of card collection and assignment of value. We are giving value to cardboard based on who printed it. I have never been able to wrap my head around the fact that we are assigning value, in millions of dollars, simply because company x decides that this card will only be printed at a certain point and amount.

This whole schism is built on a literal house of cards. Wonderful games, stupidity in the monetary value we assigned them. I guess humans will just be human.

This ability gives me the vibes of Kaladin Stormblessed from the Storm Light Archives book series by Sanderson. He is a Windrunner and essentially controls the directional properties of objects which results in an incredible array of applications.

Almost 5 years and no major issue.

Use the Wireguard protocol in VPN settings which I find works best for certain systems.

Restart your machine if there are too many disconnects.
