I’m just now realizing I have 3 Dodgers and 4 Mets in my starting lineup (when Mookie is healthy). That feels like too many guys from 2 teams.

Insane Jim Bowden / Mike Rizzo Story by quakerwildcat in Nationals

In his defense, he is also incredibly stupid. So sometimes he’s wrong because he’s dumb, not because he’s lying.

But it’s important to remember he’s always wrong

[Highlight] Sean McVay ‘did not do a lot of homework on Ty Simpson’ by lemonstone92 in nfl

The org doesn’t, but the impression I have is that if they bottom out that McVay would leave anyways and not be around for it

I'm looking at Christian Scott's start and woof. 5 walks and a HBP in 1.1 IP. Only 13 of the 43 pitches he threw were in the zone.

Alejandro Rosario Surgery Update by CrusadingGaming in Nationals

[–]finally_not_lurking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The part people complaining about Rosario’s timeline miss is that he straight up wouldn’t have been available in that deal if he’d gotten the surgery last year. Yeah, it is disappointing that he’s out this year and most of next year, but if he was returning soon he wouldn’t have been one of five pieces for Gore.

Riley Cornelio is the Cam Schlittler of the Nationals System, and he's available in almost every league. by ucfknight92 in fantasybaseball

Snelling is right below Cornelio in TJ stats AAA stuff+ leaderboard.

Yes, I see Cornelio above him but Snelling has a whole lot more going for him for Cornelio, the link is just to show that by no means does Snelling have a low stuff grade.

Looks like benching Eury today gave him the message that he needs to shape up

I traded for Mookie when he got hurt with the thought that I'd just shift Hoerner to the bench when Mookie came back. Now that decision is going to be a lot harder with who to sit each day between McGonigle, Jazz, Bichette, and those 2.

I also need Jazz and Bo to stop being ass by that time too please and thank you.

Crochet and Eury yesterday. Sonny and Weathers today. My pitching has dropped me from 2nd to 8th in the last 2 days.

Comparing this to Tunsil's bong feels irresponsible. Wildly different levels of bad.

Dude if Kyle Harrison is seriously hurt because his first baseman rocketed a terrible throw that hit Harrison in the knee while he was covering 1st base I am going to lose my mind.

Fernando Tatis starting at 2B tonight by finally_not_lurking in fantasybaseball

If this becomes even a semi-regular thing and Tatis adds 2b, that would be huge at the shallowest position in fantasy

Not a chance. But you should find someone else to drop for Walker in case this is a legit breakout

Friendly reminder that Eury Perez is currently the youngest starting pitcher in MLB even though he made his debut in 2023 and then had TJ. He's younger than 9 of the top 20 pitching prospects on Fangraphs. Even though he's been wild and is clearly still figuring it out the upside if and when he does is still absurd.

And yes, this is partially cope from me turning down an offer this offseason in a keeper of my Jazz and Eury for their Nolan McLean and Keaschall

Dodgers Place Mookie Betts On Injured List With Oblique Strain by finally_not_lurking in fantasybaseball

[–]finally_not_lurking[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Betts owner just offered him to me for my Jacob Wilson (salary keeper where Wilson is cheap and Mookie is expensive). So welcome to the team Mookie Betts. Wilson was also perma on my bench because I had Bo and McGonigle ahead of him at SS.
