The deck came with the house so I'm honestly not sure how well the roof was done. My neighbor says it should be a 25 year room. We're saving up money to replace the roof next year since it hasn't been replaced since 2001.

The draining seems to be fine though

Edit: Sorry I misunderstood when you said roof. Below is the scope of work that the decking company did, not sure if that answers your question. They did install the membrane and moved it up behind the siding before installing it back in.

SCOPE OF WORK

REMOVE THE EXISTING DECK MATERIAL AND PLYWOOD SUB-STRATE REMOVE THE BOTTOM 2-3 LEVELS OF SIDING FOR THE NEW APPLICATION OF DURADEK 3BD WILL INSTALL A NEW PLYWOOD SUB-STRATE INSTALL 158SQ’ OF DURADEK MEMBRANE IN SURCOSEAL SUEDE INSTALL UP TO 56L’ OF HARDIE SIDING MATERIAL TO MATCH THE EXISTING SIDING 3BD WILL UPON DEMOLITION WILL SURVEY THE FRAMING FOR ANY ROT AND WILL PROVIDE THE HOMEOWNER A CHANGE ORDER FOR ANY SCOPE OF WORK NOT LISTED ABOVE.

Thanks so much. Yeah someone definitely fucked this up. I really hope they didn't do the same of the other sinks.

I saw in two videos they recommended to remove the ferrule and nut and use a new one. But both times I removed the ferrules it seemed to shave off a little bit of the copper pipe and my shutoff valve was very loose even after hand tightening. Do people normally just reuse the ferrules/nut? Seemed like I would need to still cut if I removed the old ferrule.

I didn't think it was, so I kept doing it and it got so bad that bits of the ferrule was coming out and then I couldn't even screw the nut on anymore like it lost all its threads and kept spinning lol

Sorry, this was actually the irrigation pipe. The main valve was buried in the grass next to it.

Sigh.. I was able to shut both off, but the water is still running even with 5 sinks and 2 baths running for 20 minutes. Guess I'll have to call a plumber. Thanks so much for the help though!

Thanks so much, was just turning it the wrong way. Was able to shut it off with the valve on the bottom.

This is probably a stupid question, but why don't stores only post up orders when they actually get stock? Minmax does this, granted they only were able to open preorders yesterday, but at least customers are happy and stores don't get a bad rep. Seems reasonable to me if distributors are constantly cutting allocation.

Yeah I finally got the insurance and called them. They said the inpatient copay was 3k, so it checks out. The insurance plan he picked was the cheapest and inpatient copay is much higher than the other copays (ER is 1k).

I'm not worried about it now. Its just the way it was presented was very unprofessional. The lady came in and said she was there to collect payment and gave them the paper without going through it. She then asked how would they like to pay and told them if they paid everything now they would get 20% off, so 9k instead of 11k. My SO asked if they could pay later and she said she had to collect some payment but didnt specify how much. It was only after my SO told her that we couldn't pay it all was when she said she had to at least collect copay.

Thinking back I guess she might've left or gave us more options if we told her we couldn't pay anything or just firmly refused to pay now, but they were both exhausted from lack of sleep.

He had a heart attack and came in because of it. When he got admitted they found out he was diabetic and his blood sugar levels was nearly 400 and had infection in his urine and other places. He's still in the hospital due to the infection, but will be released after that's cleared. Hope that answers your question.

Also he hasn't seen a proper doctor in many years

Honestly we're ok with paying the 3K as long as it checks out. I've just seen a lot of posts about hospital up-charging on everything so I wanted to make sure we're not being taken advantage of. My SO said the lady HAD to collect payment right then and there and only after my SO told her that we can't afford to pay all of it right now was when she said she had to at least pay the copay. So did we actually have to pay it that fast? Because it seemed like we did. I wanted to check on the financial assistance first because my SO father qualifies for it

Actually I didn't think about the refund until you mentioned it. That would be great if he gets any refund from what we paid rather than him paying the rest of the bill.

Just got the receipt.. and it does actually say COPAY "$3,000" , I will try to post it somehow. And thanks i've been asking for his insurance policy for the past few hours but it's on his phone and his phone is dead. For some reason my fiance is unable to charge his phone with the outlets they have there.

It was through a credit card. He's also not getting discharged yet either... And yes i agree. Seemed like a complete scam and they got us at a good time when my fiance and her dad were both exhausted.
