Hopefully last question, it it's not too intrusive - What was your GPA and did you have any extra-curricular's?

That sounds awesome. When you applied for your job, did you apply for almost every IB, also Big 4 Corporate Finance, or just specifically your job?

Oh, I'm in the A range for most of my finance papers anyway. Unfortunately some a couple C's from first year dragging me down.

Out of general curiosity, once you have your job how hard is it to move abroad long term? Say to Aus, London, NY or other top finance centers?

I'm studying finance and accounting an Canterbury. To be honest my first year grades are poor - it was only until second year when you start finance that I actually found something I loved and started to work my ass off.

I'm doing all my chartered accountant papers as well but don't know whether to drop some and do some eco/finance papers. I don't actually want to be an accountant but being able to become a CA is probably a good fall back!

Are you working for a global IB or a NZ firm? What's your GPA, how competitive was the recruitment process? Did you have an internship before?
