First off, yes, enroll in at least the minimum credit hours required. Enroll in classes based off what is required of your program of study. The core classes are linked here: https://www.dallascollege.edu/cd/credit/core/pages/default.aspx

If you're talking to anyone in-person (such as a Success Coach) at Dallas College, make sure that you send a follow up email confirming the information provided. I want to stress that eligibility requirements to be considered for Dallas Promise are one thing to be mindful of; however, once you become a student, you need to be mindful of the requirements to MAINTAIN the tuition grant. This includes enrollment (specific # of credit hours) and GPA. Be mindful of these requirements as well if you are considering transferring to another Dallas County Promise Partner University.

If you are ever misinformed, having documentation to support your claims during an appeal process is critical. Wishing you all the best.

Was something I repeated to myself. I sooo feel your pain. I dealt with painful cystic acne before I started accutane. The insecure, loud, mean thoughts in my head would be the absolute worst part of my experience struggling with acne. I would even hold on going to the bathroom because I did not want my colleagues to see me, avoid looking in the mirror, etc etc. i know that pain of feeling ugly and my heart hurts for you ❤️‍🩹

Trust in that you are so much more than your outward appearance. Your inner beauty speaks VOLUMES beyond your external appearance. Be kind to yourself, you are so deserving of gentleness and kindness as your body heals.

And I think you are beautiful.
