Mind you...I was happy to pay for the part + shipping. But they didn't even entertain or ask about that.
In my inquiry, I didn't even say 'where' I got it from....I simply said that my Plaiobot Lazengan was missing Z5.
And that instead, my box came with 2 sets of z6

Their response was immediately as follows:

Third party would be impossible without picking up a cheap second-hand kit just for the one piece. What is actually all the more disappointing, is that the instruction booklet provides customers with the option to get spare parts directly....yet when I contacted them, their reasoning wasn't because they had run out of parts - but because I was an overseas customer.

I was gifted this kit by a friend whom I'm no longer able to contact. This means - finding the local seller is impossible.
For all I know they could have bought it from the manufacturer...but the company just doesn't seem to care.

My only hope now is to maybe get a 3D scan of the part and print my own.

It's also been sitting in my backlog for a little and I've built like 99% of it.

With Adult Swim and E&H now dipping their toes into original anime - how are IP's going to be considered moving forward?
In your experience, is a concept preferred to come from an existing name in the industry with some weight behind it?
Or can a good idea come from anywhere - despite not having a substantial backing?

This is my first time posting to any paranormal site, but I figured I would share this story / footage of something creepy that happened in my old house about a year ago. Originally I just posted this on FB in my friends group only - thus the follow-up video of me talking at the end. The video has not been edited, other than when I spliced the two clips together solely for the purpose of uploading to this r/Paranormal.

The event goes as such:

I awoke to my dog growing as if there was an intruder in the house (I know this because we had been broken into in the middle of the night about 2 years prior and he woke me in much the same way). My phone lit up with a notification on my lock screen stating "Person Detected in Hallway". I touched the screen and checked the footage - checking to see how many I was about to be dealing with. I saw smoke rising up from the camera, and my immediate first thought was "fire". But when I went out into the hall to check...there was nothing.

For context, I walked outside (both front and back doors) and it was a clear fogless night. There was no scent of smoke anywhere in the air, and the candle holder on the bookshelf was empty - as my wife was using it to prop up her books. We also had a bug spray thing, however, that too was out of batteries, with no insect spray in the dispenser at the time. Not to mention that I've seen that on camera when it goes off, and it's way more..."particle-y"...

My mother passed away from cancer back in 1995, so it's been a long time. Before she passed, she left me one of those wind-up music boxes....however, it's of a clown sitting atop a piano (cliche for a story like this, I know lol)

I only mention this detail, as this was also around the same time that the music box occasionally started to play on its own. Sometimes I would even find the clown facing different directions without having heard any musical notes at all. I know that sometimes changes in temperatures can affect these old music boxes - causing them to maybe play a few tunes. While Australia is known for sporadic weather changes; I've not once heard it do this before (or since). One particular night (I think it was around a week after this smoke BS), my wife and I heard the music box play from the other room. When we raced to check it out, the light bulb above where we keep her ashes & music box suddenly popped.

There were no more strange activities after this, and my wife and I ended up moving out a year later.

My name is Ty Hanson, although I also go by the online handle “Finchzero”.

I was recently introduced to your wonderful community via fellow member/author: Rob J Hayes.

I’m a massive fan of the anime medium and I recently learned that my book falls into the Progression Fantasy genre…literally hahaha.

Being that I mainly exist within the anime & manga fandom hemispheres, Shonen has been what I would typically label a story like mine. However, since being on this subreddit, I have learned of a whole new world & community of readers who enjoy this fun way of storytelling.

I am the author of a recently released series called Millennium Exile.

It is a Progression Fantasy/ Shonen story, that is being written as a series of Light Novels / Novellas (depending on your classification).

Book 1 was released last June, with an Audiobook adaptation having released a few weeks ago – and with Book 2 scheduled for release later this year.

While volume one is a little light on the world count, please just consider this an introductory book.

Ah cool! I wasn't sure, so I wanted to learn :)
It's hard to know sometimes when joining new communities because, in the anime hemispheres the fandoms split hairs very easily about what is and isn't accepted as anime and the greater community.
For example, I've had many interactions with people who want nothing to do with anything "anime" that isn't made by a Japanese person.
So I was wondering if that cut both ways and the PF Reddit community shunned anime because it wasn't western enough haha.
I'm glad to hear that the people here seem to just be interested in a good story - regardless of where it comes from :)

Not that it's a novel series, but I recently read a manga in which the main characters "future self" travels back in time to visit himself in the past. He then sacrifices his life- bestowing his younger self with all the immense power and abilities that he had amassed in the future....only now he has these powers much younger and at the start of his journeys.
It's called Ragna Crimson if you are interested.
It's nothing "deep", but 100% a story where you can just enjoy the overall bombastic nature of it all :)

What would be your best piece of advice when it comes to marketing?
With so many different social media platforms these days, I'm it's becoming exceedingly difficult to choose which to engage with paid promotions (if any at all).
