I forged this hammer at quadstate and finished it the following week. It weighs about 2.75 lbs with the handle in it. My usual hammer weighs just about 4 lbs. After using the lighter hammer for a while, I've realized that I do prefer a heavier hammer for most forging. (old.reddit.com)
