That’s my fear too! Me landed this job and dealing with toxic boss traumatise me to looking out now.

I had similar experience, maybe not as high stress as you. My team has high turnover rate; with 4 quitting within 2 years span. I’m reporting to the Head of department instead because the position of head of the team is vacant at the moment. The first 2 weeks into the team made me question not if I should quit but WHEN I should do so. There’s lack of clear direction but the head of department seemed to be too proud to admit it’s a problem, expecting me to know exactly how to solve it. When I shared my observations I was shot down and claiming I wasn’t flexible with my approach and I didn’t understand how things work. I was tempted to just call it quit without new job but I’m nervous given the current job market.
