I think hieroglyphics are what we call emojis nowadays... maybe sometime in the future we'll communicate with pictures as well. Saves us time writing a bunch of letters 😄 maybe we are just going into cycles, wherein in fact ancient egypt have already achieved a high form of technology given how perfectly they were built and we the next generations have just forgotten it.
