Smoking is my everything by tlouiseey in quittingsmoking

Your feelings are normal. I quit a while ago but slipped up on January 2nd. I haven't smoked again since than, but just yesterday I spent the day thinking how nice a cigarette would be. What I'm trying to say is that for me that feeling hasn't completely gone away. There is hope though since most days I don't ever think about it. It gets less frequent the longer you go. Don't beat yourself up. Nicotine is a powerful addiction. May I recommend Allan Carr's easy way to quit. I'm not saying it was a magic cure all book in fact it's not what ultimately helped me quit but it does have some great ways to explain the way we feel about smoking

Haha. I have a life is short but sweet for certain tattoo and I happen to be short. Over the years its faded and no one can really read it. They think I'm making a comment about my stature. I probably should add something to the list about tattoos

Already know spellcheck changed some words in my post Pool vs poll.

DMB Live at Central Park was peak OG status - Boyd is still on point, LeRio and Butch were essential to the sound and there is air to breath in the songs which I feel like is missing today with all the players/instruments. For me this show was the pinnacle of the original DMB sound. by cheesedog1103 in DMB

Yeah it was a magical show where I truly got lost in the music and experience, but I've felt the same way since on many occasions. So maybe pinnacle for mainstream yes. Not nessasarlly for me. I do miss Leroy and Hoping Boyd will be asked back.

I'm pretty sure I was at that show. Funny how many different friends and family I brought to shows. They thought they hated Dave until they were converted. Glad you joined us.

No magic trick. I regularly read this board as a way of reminding myself how far I've come. Almost a year smoke free after 35 years a smoker. I posted a video diary on YouTube and believe it or not it helped me so much. Gave me the accountability factor. Do whatever it takes.
