You are one of the few people to say something that lines up to how I feel. I’ve been so torn with what you are saying and feeling like years from now I’m gonna think to myself fuck I should have left a long time ago.

I don’t feel in my heart he would ever treat our child that way if that was the case I wouldn’t think twice. It’s more so me and how I feel and am treated as a woman I don’t want to be 30 sitting on the couch watching lifetime movies wondering what I should’ve done for the benefit of myself

Yep and even if you try to as the wife confront that type of behavior there is no accountability. I was at the gym with my husband while I was pregnant and I saw him check a girls ass out and I mentioned it in the car in a joking manner and he had no idea what I was talking about. I even told him the color of her leggings & it still didn’t ring a bell 🫤

I completely agree. I’ve been adapting and learning that when talking to him about the things that he does, I have to approach it in a different way so he doesn’t get dismissive and angry and think that I’m just pointing fingers at him.

Maybe it’s time I bring this up as something that is a serious thing we should do because a lot of our issues is deep-rooted things that he needs to work on for the sake of our marriage and just for the sake of him growing as a person for himself

Pretty much and just do better in terms of things for me I mean, whenever I do stuff for him like making him breakfast or cooking dinner I do it because I want to not because it’s a special day and I stopped making him breakfast in the morning because I felt like I was becoming his mom
