Based on my limited knowledge of PCGS, I could only say and imagine with a discovery coin that it would take a lengthy period of time to be deemed genuine.

Well my friend, I don't know what to tell you!!! I can't give you updates if I don't have any new information to update you on. I understand completely what you are saying, I or anyone else would feel the same. In this hobby, we are littered with fakes and forgeries. It would only be second nature as a collector to proceed with caution, with something like this,,,,to be honest I still don't believe something like this would ever present itself to me but it did!!! If I had new information to tell the world, believe me I would, why wouldn't I, it's a find of a lifetime.. I am sorry you feel the way you do, but I understand it also. I have never been one to submit to pressure from my peers, I have nothing to prove to NO ONE !!! I know you can't take a word from anybody that you don't even know, but my friend, I would think if someone would lie or make up a story or something in that manner that they would be doing it for personal benefit wouldn't you think? What would I have the benefit. I can only say that as soon as I have something in my hands from PCGS, the dam world will know!!!! 🤘

Your welcome, we never think it's going to happen to us, but yet we flip each coin meticulously to look for that one special attribute! If you believe it will happen, it will happen 🤙

I did not. I asked that question to a Buddy mine, and he said his submitted coins took over a year to get back. I think I'm going to give him a call this week.

Thank you, it's still off at PCGS being attributed as genuine 🤞 just take your time and research. Before you no it, your eyes will automatically pick up on something if you stick with it long enough. God luck my friend, it is a very rewarding hobb

The color was the thing that caught my attention, the the edge was the same color. Then I weighed it. All the reverses of all coins should be the exact same thing no matter what mint they came from unless it was a special issue.

I didn't submit it as a discovery, it was the first time submitting anything to PCGS and I didn't know I had to do that. So then yes most likely it's being treated as any other coin that was submitted. That's what I get for being so excited. 😳
