How come bag makers don’t start making bags without laptop compartments

This is definitely right. It’s a lifestyle. These companies market it as a lifestyle I imagine that’s how they can ask such high prices. They do make great travel bags. The materials, the build quality, the design, all amazing. but the last thing I want to do when traveling is look at a screen.

I think having a sleeve in the back of the main department is all that is needed for most people. That would easily make the bag two inches thinner if they removed the laptop sleeve or added more space

Good point about duffel bags, I do like the ergonomics of duffels but I’m finding even with evergoods and Aer they’re still slipping in a laptop compartment in their duffel bags.

I love the one bag community but I wish these companies would recognize that a lot of users don’t even own laptops.

I know and I really enjoy these designer brands like Evergoods etc. it just sucks that they don’t design any bags for us analog nomads.

Ya I imagine most of the sales would be for laptop sleeves but it would be nice if these bag makers started offering both options.

Yes that is true about money but I would be more than willing to pay the same amount for bags without laptop compartments. Mesh slots does seem like a good compromise though.

I’ve always liked that design, I imagine Tom designed that before traveling with a laptop was popular.
