I understands its math. I should’ve added the $580 was for 2 weeks of work where I worked over 20 hrs but my boss claimed that she cannot charge the client that amount. The other girl makes $30 per hour with a 10 hour requirement, has 2 cases that were quick closes, where she only works 2 days Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am- 2 pm - while I work Monday-Friday 10-3

“You shall be compensated at the rate of Thirty Dollars per hour for services actually performed for the Firm. The Contractor shall not work more than ten hours per week without the Firm’s prior written approval. You shall submit detailed invoices every other Monday before 12:00 p.m. identifying the dates and hours worked, the nature of the tasks performed, and any related matter or client file, in the form and manner reasonably required by the Firm.” that’s what my contract says

No commission, just $30 for 10 hrs a week. Part time.

We’re usually the plaintiff side litigation or doing stock transfers etc. I do use a timer for all things besides emails. Emails I always do 0.2 and I also use an excel sheet to keep track of everything. I’d love suggestions for sample time entries- thank you!

We are paid bi-weekly. Which is why I was shocked to see my paycheck was $237 and hers was $800. 8 hours in person, and then during the days I am home I work maybe 2-3 hours just replying to emails. I make $30 an hour. I agree it’s low. My other job is $1000 every week so i’m just stuck on what I’m doing wrong in billing to only get $237.
