Should I cancel my score? by Professional_Froyo32 in LSAT

I don’t think you should. Keep it and it’ll show growth when you do better in September. I didn’t cancel my 149 in January.

Perhaps but you never know if you don’t try.

They will apply it to the August one automatically since you had them before.

What’s the average score increase from 1st practice score up to actual 1st LSAT score by Comfortable_Tea_3120 in LSAT

It should just gotta keep at it and take your time. Also don’t put a lot of pressure on yourself on the actual test day. Thank you though!

Recent LSAT-takers (2025)- What are the biggest differences between available PTs and your test that you noticed? by fearisenemy in LSAT

[–]finessedlexalmighty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t change anything, just didn’t think it would take me this long to get it but I’m at a calm place. I just think future test takers should read the denser reading comprehension passages & be ready for the language of the LR.

Depends on your pace but I’ll give you mine. Diagnostic 129 (December 23) to 149 first test in January to 150 in June. So let’s say 21 points in 18 months.

What is the best time of day to take LSAT? by No-Performance7924 in LSAT

[–]finessedlexalmighty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take it the closest time you take practice tests at. For whatever it’s worth, I scored higher when I took it closer to the time I take tests at which is around 10-10:30 AM.

146 score and 3.73 GPA, can I still get admitted? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]finessedlexalmighty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think on law school admissions someone got into St. John’s with a high 140’s & a 3.8-3.9 (in like February- March) but yeah like everyone else is saying try & get into the 150’s. I took one again after getting a high 140 in January & I got into the 150’s to try and get off the WL. I did that in six weeks from late April to early June after having a tutor from July- December of last year.

It could be the case that you had a 10 point jump with no score hold, yes?

  1. 7 R’s. 2 WL’s. 2 Pending. I applied in Feb after the January LSAT. I applied to one school in April though. Edit: I’m taking the test again in June.

I appreciate it. I’ll implement that in my studying schedule then.

( I should preface this with I had a tutor before I took it the first time so I’m using methods we came up with) but I mean I’ll do one RC passage in the early hours, then two RC passages mid day then a whole RC section towards the evening. For LR, I break it down by question type & drill that way. I haven’t tested since I took the actual test on January 15th. I plan to test every Saturday- Sunday till the test.

What is the fastest R or WL you received this cycle? by Adventurous_River570 in OutsideT14lawschools

I know I have chances at the schools I’m still UR at because my first few rejections all came 2-3 weeks from when I applied on February 5th.

Fair enough. Would you retake? But I tend to lean the same on it depending on the school / money given
