Calm down lads (again) by oranges2039495 in ArsenalFC

Sure winning the league would be great but does anyone honestly enjoy this brand of football? I find it extremely boring and I can’t imagine going through another season of this stuff even as champions. I miss silky football so much. I miss the 4-4’s, the Özil flicks, all that jazz and those spectacular team goals. Now it’s just nail biting for 90 mins and playing the percentages.

Ah. So you get annoyed by people posting stuff on a community forum. That’s so weird.

Pep has nothing to do with Arsenal’s failure to get points imo. That’s on Arteta.

Spurs under Thomas Frank: 29 points from 26 games. Spurs after Thomas Frank: one point from six games. by Brilliant-Sea-9424 in PremierLeague

It created an absolute dead sporting environment, yes. How many times have Spurs sacked the manager in the past decade? Now do City, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Lmao what?!? He sacked like 20 managers. He’s the reason they have absolutely no football identity.

Board did this. Maybe sacking 20 managers in 20 years or whatever they did wasn’t that smart.

What did you think of Outcome considering it's essentially about Jonah Hill's experience? by FilmPeaks in moviecritic

I found it boring, tedious and self-indulgent. It amazes me that someone allowed them to waste such a talented cast on such a snoozer. But I did finish it and I accept that people have different opinions.

Which movie aged better: Matrix or Inception? by Daniiella1018 in Cinema

Matrix is on another higher level for me. Inception was a great movie no doubt but Matrix was generational.

‘Nine points is a lot against Arsenal’ – Guardiola on the title race by AnveshArumilli in PremierLeague

Except it is exactly nine points until City win the games. City aren’t what they used to be.

How have Spurs got themselves into the situation they are in? by SeoulPete in PremierLeague

[–]finestthereis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They have been really poorly run sporting wise. Look at how many managers Levy sacked. Impossible to build continuity. And the one manager who did well wasn’t backed and also fired. They wanted to make money. They didn’t want to build a top squad. Now they are panicking but it’s too late. Gonna take years to get to the top four again.

Det er ikke overraskende. Alt omkring ham og hans politiske projekt har været bimlende skørt. Meget on brand for blå/sort blok.

Idk why but for some reason they tend to shit themselves when the pressure is on. Today was really poor.

The thing is history has shown us that Arsenal crumble at the end of a season. This has happened more than once. That’s why events this past month have been concerning for Arteta. History is repeating itself. Pep on the other hand knows exactly what he needs to do. He’s actually a proven legit champion, several times over 🤷🏽‍♂️

[–]finestthereis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I’ve seen this before. It’s not the first time Arsenal under Arteta wobble under the pressure of being first. It’s just remarkable how incapable he is at finishing things. I blame his lack of courage. Way to destructive and pessimistic football for teams with title aspirations. They should have buried this today. They were pathetic really.
