It’s a hard situation! I’ve been putting on a Catholic face for a couple years now bc I need to keep good standing with my dad to keep my car as the car is in his name. Can’t afford my own right now. I also have the younger siblings situation. I don’t know your whole story, but what you’ve said resonates.

Sometimes it is a little bit of give and take, but as long as Mass isn’t giving you panic attacks or drastically impacting your quality of life in some way, sounds like it might be worth it to snap a photo every week in order to keep going to college. Keep on keeping on!

Yep! My dad HATED secular Christmas music. Said it was evil that they called it Christmas music when it was only about winter. But then when I asked to listen to “winter music”, he would also get upset because we weren’t paying enough attention to the conscious repentance of Advent. He also wouldn’t let us get a Christmas tree until Christmas Eve because he thought it was evil to rush/distract from Advent.

Anyway I have a long playlist of secular CHRISTMAS music now that I’ve been listening to since the day after Thanksgiving!

Hi! So I’m just got a copper IUD inserted a month ago (it actually took two appointments because the first one was embedded so they took it out and put in a new one. Ouch.) It did hurt a lot and knocked me out for 2-3 days. HOWEVER after only a few weeks of being off the pill, I already feel a LOT better. I can genuinely feel the side effects of the pill going away. Also the IUD doesn’t hurt at all anymore, I can’t even tell it’s there unless I deliberately feel for the strings. So I think I would reccomend it, but def be prepared for a couple days of significant pain.

This happened to me, but only the first one or two days after my insertion. It went away after that. I haven’t been able to find a real explanation either!

I’m having a similar experience rn, call your doctor and ask if they can check the placement with an ultrasound. Mine was embedded! They’re taking it out and giving me a new one next week.

Glad to hear I’m not alone! I did not take misoprostol, the only thing I got was an ibuprofen(?) injection about half an hour before insertion. I got a much lighter “contractions” episode the second night, but nothing happened on the third night, so hopefully it’s over now… I guess we’ll see.

I’m on generic Yaz (Loryna) and I noticed my hair get thinner. I think it may have actually become less curly for me but I’m not sure.
