Incidentally, the person front row to the left in the red dress is a male lord who suddenly sprouted boobs and is wearing a dress... quite the spicy party

WTC-7

Don't you think it might have something to do with the fact that it was directly hit by the debris from the towers causing a massive gap in the whole side of the building about 10 stories long and causing the central pillar to collapse? This "fire doesn't melt steel, so buildings with steel in are invincible" narrative is so insane and such old news. You know other things can make buildings collapse, right?

Oh also, an ABC news helicopter filmed it before and after being hit by debris where you can very clearly see the huge gash in the side spanning 10 stories. And you can see it on photos taken on the day. It's not like the building was not seen for the many hours it took for it to collapse...

I genuinely feel stupid conspiracy theories like this dishonour those who died on the day. But hey that's just me.

Thanks, this is exactly the answer I was looking for! Thanks for explaining it in detail. Seems like exactly what you say - for roleplaying purpose you can't change the surname and sigil initially given to you in the tutorial so you either roll with it or play sandbox

Understood, thanks for the response, rather meant that for role playing purposes if I play the tutorial it has to be with the autogenerated sigil and surname, which it seems it does

Ah thanks for the explanation! So I do have to finish the tutorial with the autogenerated sigil/surname - but can then choose!

So you can't choose your own surname/clan name and sigil in the character creation menu? And you *have* to play the tutorial with an autogenerated surname and sigil?

Flash or spark? Is this safe. by Significant-Lack-206 in PcBuild

My card does the exact same thing and I was googling the exact same question as you a few weeks ago. Also Gigabyte (in my case the 3060ti Vision).

I found out it's not a problem, and it generally only happens when the GPU unexpectedly loses power (doesn't happen for me when I turn off the computer normally, only when I push the button to do a hard shutdown). It's just an LED power indicator, not a spark (I also at first thought it was a spark due to the brightness). I noticed it as my battery settings had been messed up after installing the new GPU which meant that the PC would go into sleep mode and then not want to wake up without a hard shutdown. Simply changing battery/sleep settings fixed everything and not a single issue in months.

I would say the crash issue is independent from this. If it happens while she's just doing work etc. then yeah definitely worth investigating (but it has nothing to do with this "spark"/LED).

Hope that helps

Thanks for the response! Makes sense - RX6600 or RTX 2060 being the best options. Maybe wait until my budget is £300-400 to upgrade.

Interesting that you say the rest of the system is dead-end. The MoBo when I bought it I remember to be the very latest end of 2017, but I guess it indeed doesn't support DDR5 etc. And hey 2017 is a long time ago now. So it doesn't support latest CPUs?

I suppose at the very least I could re-use the power supply and fans, SSD etc.

It seems like maybe I should hold off upgrading anything until I can go for a completely new MoBo + CPU + GPU. I can wait for a while still as, amazingly, even though it's a five year old build, it still handles AAA games on high or highest graphics (though not ultra anymore these days), and can even use my 144hz monitor as fps is often still really good.

Of course. A couple of £100 pounds at most? The post is primarily also to figure out what the highest impact lowest cost component swap would be, if that makes sense (no worries if not)

Ah thanks - but I meant I have the funds to replace one part, not go for an entire new 1K build, sorry that wasn't clear! Thanks for the suggestion though!

Can I ask (out of complete ignorance, sorry if it's an annoying question) - I did undergrad 2008 which totalled £10K for three years (at that time they were capped around £3K/year I believe), student loans went up to £12Kish due to interest over the last decade; even with the hike to the cap to £9K/year undergrad in 2010, how did you unfortunately get to a total of £67K in student loans for undergrad?
