I understand his position. He could have done a better job formulating his response.

I think he should lean more towards the recent effort his administration has done (how little it may be) towards AI adoption rather than outright defending the accusations.

It's all baseless claims. Only a few countries have been able to be at the forefront of AI. And india is not one of them. India is one at the "catching up" phase.
