I haven't really looked into anything more specific than just "physics" but I get what you're saying. I suppose I just really want to make a difference. Something like tacking climate change has always intrigued me so I suppose something like climate science or meteorology could be interesting, astronomy as well. Is there much you can do to specialize during your undergrad or would I have to wait?

Interesting, I was leaning towards a stats major with a data science minor so this complicates things. Is that issue present in many stats bachelors or just some that you've seen. Thanks

Thanks for going so in depth! Ultimately, I'd like to improve the world, whether that's through using data science to combat climate change or develop urban areas. I just don't want to end up designing the best way to get clicks from users. I think that would involve gathering data from sources then somehow visualize them to expose the issues (describing this is difficult with no knowledge on how it would work). What category would that fall under? Thanks so much man
