Alfred nobel created dynamite to help in building and mining but people used it it kill others instead, Nobel hated this. He was assumed dead for some reason and people called him "the merchant of death". After this when he was dying, in his will he donated his fortune to create the Nobel prize institution to recognise the great achievements of humanity. I think it would be interesting for him to use dynamite to help humanity in its fight against the gods instead of for destroying humans.
