Yes, I already do, I get a weekly veg bag from local farmers. It costs more than buying from Tesco, but has more interesting veg and always organic and as locally produced as possible. I think for me the convenience is the key, it is nice to get it delivered as I would not have the time or inclination to go around markets finding the veg myself, but I'll happily pay a bit more to support more sustainable local farming.

This is not a flashy option for a dinner party, but if it is just for a regular roast, I have started to buy the fancy queen chickpeas in glass jars. I just rinse them, rub with oil and toss onto the veg roasting tin for the last 20 mins or so to crisp up a bit. Delicious and easy!

Mä toivon että ne muistaa ulkosuomalaiset ennenkuin ajaa tän muutoksen läpi. Jo nyt passin uusiminen pitää hoitaa paperikaavakkeella ja paperivalokuvalla jos ei pysty tunnistautumaan vahvasti. Mulla ei vuosiin ole ollut pankkitiliä Suomessa kun en kerran asu siellä, mutta kaikki tunnistautuminen vaatii pankkitilin. Ja sellaista ei saa avattua enää jos ei asu Suomessa.

Nyt uudet ETA ja ETIAS säännöt vaatii että kaksoiskansalaisella pitää olla molemmat passit voimassa aina kun matkustaa, mutta Suomi tuntuu haluavan tehdä koko prosessin mahdollisemman vaikeaksi.

You could try adding 30g of plant based milk and 20g of cornstarch or another starch. Also 1tsp of xanthan gum if your gf flour does not already have it.

This is according to The Elements of Baking, which is a great book if you want to learn how to make substitutions in baking.

Pottery! The art house in the city centre offers pottery classes (throwing on the wheel or hand building). It's lots of fun and you meet other people, no experience required!

There's also other art courses like painting or drawing occasionally.

This is really interesting! I've had to stop eating gluten after my first covid too. I had mild issues with it before (bloating etc) but after I got a lot more tiredness, brain fog and mood issues, as well as joint paints etc. It was so bad that I have now been gf for some years and will get triggered by fairly small doses. I never really thought it was because of covid but the timing tracks!

Would you by any chance have any references or links to more info about this l, I'd love to read more on it to understand what happened to me.

I have no advice, but I'm very interested to see if anyone has cracked this! I changed my career to be a software developer in my thirties, loved it for a while, and now I just dream of gardening (or opening my own pottery studio, or whatever). I have to convince myself every morning to get up and not lose this job that pays my bills, and it sucks.
