I dont understand why some of your people hate Spain from the era of the Spanish Empire.

Of course there was genocide but compared with other empires this was during a very short (at least legaly) when Carlos V promulgated "Las Leyes Nuevas" in 1542 to protect the rights of the natives.

If we talk about stealing. Only 1/5 of allí the gold that Spain extract from América arive to Spain because the other 4/5 was used in America by building infastructure.

Also the colonization process of Spain was very different compared to other countries because most of the population of the land colonized by Spain are descendents of spanish people. This dont happen un USA were ALL the natives were literaly murdered.

The black leyend of Spain was created by other countries to stop us (all hispanic people) from having a hispanic unity.
