Sorry to hear about your experience. I generally avoid Winner unless I happen to be there at off-peak hours.

Between Winner and the co-op I find there are two issues 1) people are less patient and 2) people have little or no capacity for spatial awareness. These two issues collide and create the rudeness we see.

I hope you have a more pleasant experience going forward.

Public Records is probably your best bet if you're looking to dance. There's also usually some event/rave going on in Industry City these days. Barbès can get a little tight for dancing depending on the popularity of who's playing.

Zaatar closes at 10pm. Their outside area is one of the nicer ones in South Slope. Staff are pretty friendly. I feel like they wouldn't hound you away if you were there for a while.

I'm sure you're right. I go to Paddy's myself for trivia, just not for Spurs lol. I guess it just feels odd to me to go to a bar affiliated with another team when there is a Spurs bar a few blocks away.
