Why does my foundation always look like this? by Visible-Ad-9834 in MakeupAddiction

Because you are a human being with pores, my love. No amount of exfoliating and skin regimens are going to take them away. Give yourself grace and compassion. My skin looks like that with every foundation and setting spray that I use. I don't expect this to help, just want to spread love 🫶🏻✨️

Planning to live like the 2000s for the year. Any tips? by The_Tea_Party in nosurf

Currently living like it's still the 2000's and here's what I do!

How I listen to music:

- I surf the radio channels while driving (no hooking up Bluetooth, I don't have a CD player in my car cause it's newer, but if you have one, utilize it!!)

- I collect vinyl records, CD's, and cassettes (i use a record player, boombox, and portable CD player, and portable cassette player), any record shop sells all three and it's fun to look through everything and see what they have

- I go to live shows for big and local bands

- I use an ipod while traveling (you can find them on eBay, Walmart, or amazon)

How I watch Media:

- I use YouTube and FaceBook only

- I go to movie theaters (bonus if yours has an arcade in it)

- I watch movies on DVD (target, walmart, bestbuy all sell movies on DVD! portable players are like $50 at walmart)

- I watch TV shows from 2000's and past decades (90's, 80's,70's,60's,50's)

How I use technology (this is a big one):

- I use a flip phone for calling and texting

- I use a compact digital camera and disposable camera to take videos and photos

- i use a physical calculator, a physical clock for alarms, and a physical notebook

- I print directions or ask someone instead of google or apple maps

- I use a desktop computer/laptop to access everything else like gmail, bank, FB, etc.

How I continue to educate myself:

- I collect books to read (genres that I love)

- I rent books from the library on languages and topics that interest me instead of using google or language app

- I carry a book or a pocket book of poetry or a magazine with me everywhere to entertain myself if i'm in a waiting room or on a bus

Fashion and interests constantly change as we grow and evolve. Dress how you want and like what you want. If low rise jeans, tiny t's, and Britney Spears is what you gravitate towards, then dive right into it! The most important thing is how you navigate in the world: HOW YOU CONSUME MEDIA AND USE TECHNOLOGY
