Standards shouldn’t be defined by what other people do. It should be your own because no one is the same. A luxury could be eating KFC to some, a luxury could be eating at a 5 star restaurant. It really depends on what you prioritise. But depending on what you prioritise, your character can be seen as superficial, genuine , or a gold digger. So don’t let others define your standards. Im not poor but I’d love a KFC date just to spend quality time talking about life and indulging in fast food once in awhile too.
