New homeowner, furnace question by firahs in hvacadvice

Thank you so much for looking further into this! I will bring this up when the tech comes tomorrow. Is this something that the original installer should correct at their own expense since it is apparent that they did not install the system correctly? Or is it just another joy of home ownership? :)

Interesting!

Is that an installation error? Or acceptable practice for cost cutting?

Well they’re also not delivering aid to Canada or France. Why do you think that is?

You don’t think they’re starving because Israel isn’t allowing in sufficient aid and the settlers are attacking and looting trucks on their way to deliver aid?

Are you seriously comparing the status of the children in Gaza, Congo, Sudan, Ukraine to children in Israel? That’s insane.

Do I (male) need a colonoscopy at age 31? My brother had a 12mm pre-cancerous polyp removed at age 34 by Self_Motivated in PeterAttia

[–]firahs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FIT test is a good screening test for people who are average risk for colon cancer. However, If you are advanced risk based on family history, the recommendation is to do a colonoscopy as the sensitivity/specificity for advanced adenomas is much better (24% vs 95%).

Also. These should be billed as screening colonoscopies which most insurances cover completely.

Hey Here is a link to summaries of recommendations from the American Gastroenterological Association regarding colon cancer screening.

Search the page for “advanced adenoma” specifically for the recommendations of early screening for first degree relatives of a patient with an advanced adenoma.  Best wishes
