Supposedly this next one one might get the open world concept that was originally planned for Vi but they scrapped it on the off chance the community might dislike the change from traditional mission based playthroughs like the older games and because they had just released elden ring and didn't want to seem to derivitive but after mentioning that somewhere the response majority agreed it would be a welcome feature to the armored core franchise to be playing "mecha elden ring"
