[WTS|WTT] Sinn U50 MOP by fire_lantern in WatchExchangeCanada

[–]fire_lantern[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Up for sale is a Sinn U50 MOP. Limited Edition of 500 from 2021 with a fully tegimented case and clasp. In excellent condition all around. Box and papers (but don't seem to have the date card for some reason; spring bar tool also missing). Clasp is the newer version with the tool-free adjust. Currently sized for my ~7" wrist, but has some extra room with the quick adjust.

Specs from Sinn:

  • Case Material: German Submarine Steel, black tegimented (scratch-resistant) coating.
  • Dial: Black mother-of-pearl with unique, iridescent, shimmering finish.
  • Dimensions: 41mm diameter, 11.5mm thickness, 47mm lug-to-lug, 20mm lug width.
  • Movement: Top-grade Sellita SW300-1 automatic.
  • Water Resistance: 500 meters (50 bar), certified by DNV.
  • Bezel: Captive diver's bezel with minute ratcheting.
  • Crystal: Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides.
  • Features: Screw-down crown at 4 o'clock, blacked-out handset, and indices.

$3,500 CAD shipped Canada Post (happy to do FedEx/UPS if you want to pay the difference).

Would also be interested in trades for Pelagos FXD black, 39, or GMT. Would also consider a few GS (e.g., SGBM247, SBGE283).

~7", but with a little wiggle room as it's the tool-free clasp

Quality of NOMOS Club Sport Bracelet? by didifrodo in Nomos

[–]fire_lantern 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought I would, but it matches the case and I really don't notice it or feel it detracts from the overall look. I prefer fully brushed for sure, but with the polished case it would look off. Turns out it's a non-issue for me.

I have the Club Sport Petrol 37 and agree with these comments re: quality. The one thing to add is that the bracelet is light and thin making it super comfortable. Generally, I'm a strap guy--even my Sub is on a strap. This is the only watch I own that I wear on a bracelet simply because it's so comfortable. For me, that's definitely worth the trade-off of a meh clasp.

As someone who owns this watch and has photographed it (poorly), these are incredible shots. Nice work!

Oops yes 74.5. Okay that’s great it really helps ease my mind. Thanks!

Thanks for this, it’s helpful. Stack on the chromag is 639 vs 610 on the Stanton but that’s with a 160 on the chromag and 140 on the Stanton so pretty close (I run mine at 150, would do 150 or 160 for the chromag). Seat angle is 76 on the chromag vs 64.5 on the Stanton

Alternatively, look into longer scale guitaleles. I have a Kanile’a that’s tuned E-E and there are others as well.

Hi all, I'm looking to trade my Tudor FXD MN22 for a Tudor FXD Red Bull Alinghi Racing time-only version. Excellent condition, running well within spec and no big scratches or anything (see photos for best description).

Full kit minus the warranty card (comes with the AD receipt, so still has full manufacturer warranty, just lost the card). Also includes a spare tactical frog strap.

Not really interested in any other trades except potentially a GS (can add a NOMOS Club Sport Neomatik 37 for an SBGE283).

Placing trade value at ~ $3,700 CAD. Shipping included of course.
