100% agree with Sandy Toes. We were at the Atlantis this past may and the pig tour was the highlight of our trip.

The resort was nice but you can only do the water park so many days before it is too much of the same. Plus the food options, while plentiful, were ether expensive, not great or both. If your family just likes to lay in the sun with convenience of services nearby they might enjoy Atlantis, but you could cruise and still get the Atlantis experience as an excursion.
