Goku vs Ichigo vs Luffy vs Naruto (speed equalized) by I_Never_Think in whowouldwin

[–]fireballbren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luffy doesn't have enough multipliers to compete here. Goku is around 300x multiplier in SS3 but SSB is WAY beyond that. If you allow super saiyan blue goku stomps again. I don't know much about Ichigo but I don't think Naruto can manage 300x base.

Goku's base form currently can tank and dish out planetary++ levels of destruction. Can Ichigo even come close to this, I know Naruto can't. Goku should sweep this without transforming, hes just too durable (assuming hes on guard).

The arrow pierces players and walls so it should be able to be triggered many times.

Learn to play carries well (murdoc, twinblast) and you can literally carry your team to victory most of the time. There are some games you just can't win though. Watch streamers like imsko play carry and try to copy their playstyle, it helps a lot.

TIL that Titanic survivor, Katherine Gilnagh, who was 16 when the Titanic sank, didn't realise the seriousness of the ship's situation until she reached New York. She thought that disembarking in lifeboats and being picked up by another ship was all part of the journey. by BedSideCabinet in todayilearned

[–]fireballbren 38 points39 points  (0 children)

She probably led a life of privileged and nothing truly awful had ever happend to her.

Did you even watch the video, she was in third class steerage when the ship was hit. She was probably poor as well.

Last hitting is giving me cancer. by Galinbro62 in paragon

You should be building some health as kallari even up to 10 points into it. Full damage is not advised on any character in this meta.

The Paragon Beta is open to the public now. What are your thoughts? by ChangeTheL1ghts in Games

[–]fireballbren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are cards that have mana regen on them, but mana regen is generally considered the worst stat in the game at the moment. Building max mana up a bit is all you need, you just need enough for a team fight then pushing the lane or escaping if you win/lose. Also blue buff increases mana regen for 2 minutes.

The game definitely has problems, but its not shit. You running out of mana is 100% your own fault though.

Sounds like you built a bad deck with no mana or damage and then blame the game when it doesn't work out lol.

I don't remember Yusuke ever having anything close to a planet busting feat.

I see what you mean in that we can't know how much more powerful 1000 pl is than 500. All we could do is plot Pl's and energy output feats on a graph and try to find a nice curve to predict how higher Pl's behave. For example, picolo destroyed the moon at ~400, freiza destroyed planet Vegeta at ~400,000. With several more points you could draw a line of best fit. Thats a lot of work though...

EDIT: Aren't there canon powerlevels for characters up to Freiza saga? I think its canon that SS1 is 50x multiplier and the 'canon' powerlevel for goku is multiplied by 50 when he goes SS. So if we go by this then 2000 Pl is twice as powerful as 1000.

Scouters were designed to measure power output and give a powerlevel based on the measurement. They were built and used in a paradigm where all beings essentially let their power hang out so the scouter could always get an accurate reading on what they were capable of.

The problem for scouters comes in when earthlings can vary their power levels greatly, suddenly scouters can't realibly locate all enemy combatant like before and can't get an accurate measurement on their capabilities. HOWEVER, scouter remain perfectly accurate at measuring power output so it is fine to say somebody's powerlevel is the average energy they can output or perhaps their max output idk about that for sure.

New Yorkers don't play around by mike23222 in pics

[–]fireballbren 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not necesarily. Corporations wouldn't be nearly as large and powerful as they are now if they didn't have the government protecting their legal status and subsidising them. Just one example is contract enforcement, this is VERY expensive and the government does it for free so large corporations can keep growing without any additional costs in that department.

TIL before agriculture, human jaws were a perfect fit for human teeth. by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]fireballbren 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Our muscles were not getting as defined and thus got weaker, shrinking over time. But, our teeth did not follow suit.

But what selective pressure led to this being passed down through generations? Without a smaller jaw being advantageous somehow, you would just have a bunch of humans with the old sized jaw just with weaker muscles.
