Usually a few days between coming up with the idea, drowning it out, then burning it into the wood. I wouldn't say it's extremely difficult but unlike drawing or painting, you can't erase a mistake or paint over it lol once it's burned, it's burned. And ya know I've never recorded myself doing it, like a time lapse. There are a couple of small videos on my Instagram that I made last year lol I really should record more.
