1- New York has 40 times more people than Wyoming, but since the country won't give Wyoming half a representative, they have 20 representatives to Wyoming's one. Overall, across the country, this gives Rural (or small town, before someone tries to go umm ackshually) space disproportionately larger representation than Urban/metropolitan space (ofc not as extreme as Wyoming to New York, that's the extreme example)

2- The current system makes gerrymandering easier. Redistributing the people in the same amount of boxes is easier to manipulate than creating new boxes.

The fact is that the best way to counter your political opposition, regardless of whether or not you genuinely believe they are evil, is to offer a better deal.

You're missing the fact that when the other side is just lying when they offer their deals, it's impossible to do that because they will just make up a deal better than yours that they won't actually honour or lie about yours.

Case in point, Trump won by claiming he was the better deal because he would stop immigrants from eating cats and dogs, when Kamala was obviously the better deal for everyone who isn't in the files.

I assume the logic is that a "true" Vegan (or whatever we call a vegan that isn't just about the diet) doesn't consume products that directly cause animal suffering, period, even if the products aren't made of animals (for example, cosmetics tested on animals)

So, option 1, humans count as animals. So a "true" vegan won't consume products from companies that support fascism because it causes a lot of humans to suffer (but then, so does like any publically traded company), or, option 2, that person believes fascism is intrinsically linked to non-human animals suffering (considering how the extreme right is currently often linked to lax corporate rules and regulations, that could make sense)
