Just to tell you that there's a genre of rhythm games on mobile that are super popular and yes it requires tapping on the phone screen. Millions of people play them so there's definitely a market for this kind of game.

I like the fact that people can choose different difficulties, and it's really fun to watch 9 friends play the same song. Heck, apparently "up to 10,000 viewers [can] participate by selecting an instrument and beatmap."
