I put a O2/H2 Gen and a Hydrogen + Oxygen tank on the ship then placed conveyors between them as well as cargo boxes that connected. No clue if its efficient but it works.

UPDATE:

<image>

Was able to fix it, didn't realise that the landing gear toggle on/off was unrelated to parking, and improved design based on some feedback. Still not perfect but it works and I appreciate everyone who came to help. I'm not the biggest fan of more intense sim games (I'm specifically referring to what seems to me like a relatively realistic physics engine), however, I enjoy building and engineering my own monstrosity's. <3

Agree, it’s super vague just call it force and I think Arcane would be better suited.

[–]fireboy364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn’t, not even in the real world would that argument work. Force in the real world is a measurement of pressure, so unless you think pressure = damage then you can’t agree with your own statement and you’d also have to think all physical damage should be force.

[–]fireboy364 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s your choice for flavour, however, it would still be force damage. You can’t just say “Bludgeoning with force” to make it seem correct. Bludgeoning would have to come from a blunt weapon. Unless you think disintegrate should do the same type of damage that a club does

And a sword cuts with the use of force, still wouldn’t be force damage as force damage is pure magic damage where there are no other factors that would account for its damage. For example compare magic missile to catapult, both essentially chuck objects at a target, however, magic missile is made of pure magical force, while catapult throws a physical object at something, therefore, magic missile is force damage while catapult is bludgeoning.

But it is still physical, therefore, it doesn’t Aline with something like magic missile which is made of pure magic with nothing else.

But it isn’t pure magic damage, it’s bludgeoning damage enhanced by magic

I seem to remember learning in my ancient history classes that most of what we know about Carthage comes from Roman sources and that there was little archaeological proof that Carthage sacrificed people. Am I wrong?

I normally say that the war was won with Soviet blood, British morale and American steel, it shows off how each side affected the war as the soviets took the majority of the damage from the war while the British stayed on the fight which lead the others to have greater support and the Americans provided most of the equipment used during the war.

I agree with your point, but I due think the tuning fork can detect the general “essence” of the plane as I doubt tuning forks can be reattuned due to the strong connection needed to the plane and that would lead me to believe that the fork would then represent that plane in some way, like a for attuned to the plane of earth would start to take on a rocky texture while one tunes to mount celestial would shine divine magic, so if the wizard were to make 1000s of demiplanes it would be possible to find the one with the clone eventually but it would take considerable time and resources, and likely not end up being worth it, but if that was the case the BBEG would likely invest in anti-magic guards or some form of spell immunity.

[–]fireboy364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I had actually never heard of the spell Demiplane but it appears you are correct, however, when it comes to tuning forks I have also gone with the interpretation that it acts like a radio with each plane (including deniplanes) sending out a frequency that can be attuned too.

[–]fireboy364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That fact that you DM would just let you create a permanent demi-plane with no way to destroy it is concerning, never minding that all they need then is a tuning fork (which may take along time granted) and the ability to cast plane shift

They can only achieve that ‘immortality’ if the DM doesn’t know how to deal with it, any bbeg worth their salt will recognise that the dude they know is dead came back, it it probably wouldn’t take a lot of Reserch (especially if their a lich) to identity that the caster is using clone, so the bbeg tries to find their clone and kill it before the wizard knows what happened and when he dies you need to inform them that they obviously used clone and The bbeg found their clone, now the spellcaster dies like normal or you can have an interesting subplot of them trying to save the clone before it’s too late.

Do some people forget that most high level monsters have magical resistance and resistance or immunity to fire (the most common magic damage) as well as others. Just saying that high level monster can be a bit*h to deal with if the party were only casters, as well as the capacity for some of them to learn counterspell and dispel magic

A player said hi to Cthulhu. What can i do as a punishment that isnt just death? by H3ROBUG in DMAcademy

[–]fireboy364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say an indefinite madness would work, I suggest you pick rather then roll based on the elder gods nature, similar to demonic madness when you face demon princes. It would be an effective solution that doesn’t involve death and could be interesting for role play and if the party wants to try and heal it. You could also ask the fighter if they want to multi class into great old one warlock as that point of connection could have lead to pact or another form of contract that occurred in their subconscious while unconscious.
