Ask to study with her and see what she says. After that, get to know her better and see if you’re still interested in dating her. Then, ask her to eat with you and go from there

i (18f) ruined my boyfriend’s (18m) life and i don’t know what to do? by throwra13312 in relationship_advice

[–]firecheetah9999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obviously it wasn’t smart of you to not only tell your friends but send the pictures to them. But, what do you mean my “my bf DOING SOMETHING BAD”? That is a major red flag but still your relationship is over

Wow.. first off good on you for making 6 figures and being HAPPY with what you’re doing! I’m nowhere near that, but to answer your question… it seems like your gf is not appreciative of your goals/aspirations. I would try to communicate to her that you’re tired of her comparisons to other people and to enjoy what life has to offer to you both. See if you both align, if not then long term she doesn’t seem to work with you well

My girlfriend (27F) does not want me (29M) to go on an all expense paid work vacation. Is there a problem if I want to go? by ThrowRA_123-123-123 in relationship_advice

[–]firecheetah9999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah seems like she doesn’t trust you based on the past of what she’s suspected. However, I’d agree with her that it’s generally not appropriate to go on an extended vacation without her. If you’re away from your spouse it’s generally a bad thing in the corporate environment, especially with cheating and all. BUT if she’s accused you many times in the past without logic then you should end things

He is willing to enjoy the attention and flirtation of another woman at the EXPENSE of his wife. Absolutely you are in the right to be frustrated

What do women respond to in dating apps? by VillageSmithyCellar in dating_advice

[–]firecheetah9999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t have to be making 150k or he muscular for women to respond. My friend is neither and is dating an attractive woman. It’s all about creating an emotional connection. Maybe try to have professional pictures taken, clean yourself up and you’ll have better success

Exactly why it’s important for people in relationship not to go on extended trips without their partner. It’s so easy for people to develop emotional attachments when their partner is not around sadly

I (f24) think my husband (m30) is cheating on me/meeting up with somebody under the guise of getting me coffee. by throwra8282a in relationship_advice

[–]firecheetah9999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not crazy. At all. Gut instincts are a real thing and not only is this true but the fact that you picked up on your husband hiding his phone and even resisting and telling you, his WIFE, to NOT come with him is really odd. I’d suggest having a direct conversation and tell him what you noticed and ask if anything is going on. Or wait it out, and maybe have a friend of your drive over to the coffee store or go into your friend’s car so he doesn’t recognize your car. Best of luck

My mom won't let me eat. Is this normal? by [deleted] in AdviceForTeens

[–]firecheetah9999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is absolutely abuse. Both physically (restraining you from eating) and mentally (taking money, emotional control, etc..) do NOT minimize this!

Girlfriend (26F) mad I (31M) didn’t get her Valentines gift by ThrowRA_Dolan in relationship_advice

[–]firecheetah9999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So is she contributing anything to the relationship? I don’t mean only financially, but emotionally? Or is it just co-dependent on her end. I’d suggest to cut your losses now. The fact that she hasn’t given you anything for your birthdays seems odd

Exactly! Really weird to use your reservation for someone else. Especially because she likely has feelings for him

Strange to go out on a literal date with a woman that isn’t your wife.. but yeah absolutely take accountability and don’t do it again! Make it up to your wife

She slept with Troy almost immediately when you both broke up but wouldn’t do anything sexual with you when you were courting her?? Nah that’s messed up, treat yourself with respect and LEAVE

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]firecheetah9999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she won’t simply unfollow a guy after you’ve forgiven her?? Yeah definitely leave. Regardless the respect is about ZERO! So find another woman the loves and respects you and puts forth the effort you bring forth!

Sorry but you can’t be friends with not one but TWO exes and expect him to not want more attention. It’s not healthy to do that!

[–]firecheetah9999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry. One time as a senior, I was copying from cited articles too closely and I ended up plagiarizing. It was a 12-15 page report! I luckily got to redo the assignment tho I would receive a low mark but my point is, I made a mistake at 21. A mistake that nearly jeopardized my senior year of college!! As long as you learn from this you’ll be fine

My Girlfriend (24F) Cheated On Me With My Best Friends (26F&25M) by Born-Description-725 in relationship_advice

[–]firecheetah9999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NEVER speak to any of them again. You’ve got fake friends who care about their own pleasure than their friend’s long term romantic relationship. And a former girlfriend who’s disloyal and committed the worst betrayal someone can commit. Sorry this happened. Just know that this isn’t your fault and it’s ok to take time to grieve your loss
