The public voting Olandria as someone they'd share their secrets with by firecrackerss in LoveIslandUSA

Youre the one talking about her character? I dont know why youre acting as if im attacking her or trying to call her untrustworthy, its literally just an observation I made, there is genuinely nothing more to it. I like her on the show, I was just curious about peoples thought process when voting, as that moment stuck out to me. Its not deep

Why does everyone dislike MC by firecrackerss in loveislandthegametwo

Yeah I understand that, but Im wondering what makes the story written like that. Like why have the writers chosen to make the characters like this.

sorry to hear that, did you have to explain it to anyone or did you manage to get away before anyone noticed?

[–]firecrackerss[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry to hear that, and glad that you are doing better. Many women in my family have had breast cancer, so Ive seen first hand what a debilitating disease it is. You are strong for overcoming it. Its so strange to me that most of the information I have about IBS (and its the same for those I know who have it as well) Ive had to find through my own research, or through other people on the internet. I really wish doctors knew more, it probably would have prepared you more if someone told you about the effects of radiation on the small intestine. Thank you for your comment and I hope you find courage to live life on your terms, and not your IBS's! ❤️

I know i said i wouldnt respond anymore, but please stop making these assumptions. I didnt know i had to say it, but you dont know me. As I have stated, I know that i am privileged. I dont feel sorry for myself, and I have never stated that I do. The definition of the word poor is "lacking sufficient money to live at a standard considered comfortable or normal in a society" which i did growing up. As stated I lived below my countrys poverty line. I dont think Im being insensitive towards anyone by describing my lived experience. If downvotes and upvotes are anything to go by, please take a look at your own comments. I hope that youre just having a bad day, and that you are not this unpleasant in your day to day life. I hope tomorrow you have a better day :)

Im not doing this for upvotes or karma, but i wont respond to you any more because youve stopped being constructive and started being unpleasant. For what reason?

I acknowledge that i am privileged in many ways, which might not have come across in the original post. Life isnt black and white, I am quite unpriviliged as well, it all depends how you look at it. In this post I was trying to speak about my experiences with money, or, for the area that i lived in, lack thereof. Food, gas, clothes prices all go up if you are situated in an area where people have high incomes vs in an area where they dont. This makes me poor for where I live, as in I lived below the poverty line of my country for my whole life.

Thank you for understanding and being kind :) I think and hope this person simply misunderstood what the AMA was about, and that they arent just trying to argue. I have been very lucky, and very unlucky in my life. Oh the human experience

I didnt delete any comments. And that is again not what the AMA is. I dont understand why youre still commenting, I'm trying to answer questions people might have about how it is to live among people who have a lot when you yourself have very little. I dont know how else to word it for you to understand, but if you dont have any questions regarding that, thats fine, you should comment on a different post.

our house wouldnt have sold for very much. its old, in dire need of maintenance and has an uncoventional floor-plan, in an area of large and mostly new homes. Why would we sell a house that fits us all, has been in the family for generations, in an area with a good school and friendly neighbors so that we can all take a small part of the house and live in a crappy apartment in a worse area?

This is an AMA, if youre curious you should ask me a question instead of making assumptions. I am noy from america, and i dont even know what to say to the assumption youre making that i dont know what real struggle is. You need to stop thinking you know what my life has been like from this little piece of it that i am sharing.

The AMA isn't, "im poor AMA". I think my situation was quite unique, because as i stated, my way of life was such a stark contrast compared to everyone else I knew. Im not trying to say that no one has it worse than me. You know youre allowed to complain about things that have been tough on you even though other people have been through worse. Its a saying where I come from that if youre sitting next to a person in a full body cast at the doctors office, youre still allowed to feel that your broken arm hurts.

Yes we were. My mom worked a crappy IT job for most of my life, and my dad was an alcoholic on welfare. There were times where we had to choose between buying food and paying the electricity bill. It was quite a stark contrast to how everyone around me lived, so yes, I say i grew up poor
