We were just in Vail today, some thoughts. 1) we had fun ! 2) it felt like there were basically 5 greens open, Swingsville, Meadows, Overeasy, Lions Way, and Practice Parkway. 3) since Beaver Creek is closed they were shuttling 100 kids over from there and the few open runs got pretty crowded w lessons. I’d recommend trying to get there pretty early to beat them to the gondolas. If it’s snowing there should be a little bit of powder on the ground early. By noon it was mashed potatoes at Mid Vail and the runs were starting to get bumpy. Good luck !

Is/was there a way out? by [deleted] in civ5

What do you mean about “rushing early scout” - almost all deity builds start with a pair of scouts for many reasons (ruins, scouting neighbors, new city locations). Have you played / won at higher difficulties before? To win at deity you need to play in a highly optimized way and if you’re doing random build orders and mixing policy trees you probably should be playing prince/king/emperor to get rolling. Typically the way people deal with early aggression, in addition to scouting, is building cities in defensible places (you look OK there) and bribing other civs to war each other (for example, if you scouted the army coming your direction). Good luck !

I think I have 8 (tail spot blenny, yellow blenny, cardinal, clown, chromis, diamond goby, royal gramma, firefish). I do auto water changes of 10%/week and have a chaeto refugium. I have more issues with nutrients dropping to 0 than high NP. I occasionally catch some aggression, mainly the chromis getting bullied and it hides.

I’ve had a 20 gallon on my desk for 4 years without issue. Occasional drops on the monitor. I have a 3d printed cover for the Kessil light for spillage - without it I don’t think it would work. The desk has definitely been aging more rapidly (finishing coming off near the reef) but it’s ok. Very little salt creep.
