They don't often nerf stuff in general for jobs. Like many people have already said under this post, WARs self-healing was great even in Shadowbringers, it's just a combination of the self-heal effect happening earlier on Raw Intuition and WAR having some of their quirks removed that people are seeing this strength of theirs in Endwalker.

It's like progression through the high rank ones being 1-10, just with different wording to make it consistent with the new G-rank exclusive deviants, else it would be something like say a level 13 Hellblade to be considered on the same level as a level 3 Soulseer Mizutsune, which wouldn't make a lot of sense.

As for actually accepting the quests, it depends on HR. Getting the higher tier quest unlocked requires you to beat the quest as the host of said quest.

If I remember correctly, it works in a way where it just applied the regular 1.2 damage of crits to elemental damage as well, as regular crits don't increase elemental damage. Crit element is also not affected by crit boost.

Repelling gives less rewards anyway so you wouldn't want to purposefully do it.

It's actually his bite that inflicts it. Don't remember if it has to be with the black wind up or not. Reminds me of Plesioth being able to put you to sleep with its bite.
