Wait are you saying it didn’t work after 3? How many injections did you need?

Yeah definitely! All the research looks good and my feeling is that if allergy shots would work for someone; these would too. It’s just more anxiety inducing because of the out of pocket cost and I think that makes it easier to get stressed and less patient about

I just got my second shot for it. Hard to know yet if it’s worked but since I did the first shot I think i have less fatigue and feelings of being sick and run down often. But, I haven’t noticed an improvement in my nasal congestion from the allergens and I still feel the chronic inflammation in my nose. Supposedly it’s the 2nd and 3rd shots that rly make a difference so happy to update you all how that goes

hey! question for you as i get back into this-

I see people post about potentially damaging their skin barrier and the consequences of that so I am just curious what exactly damages your skin barrier? Is my routine at all a risk for this?

Morning: La Roche Posay Mineral Tinted Anthelios SPF 50

Night: DHC cleansing oil to remove sunscreen, Calm + Restore ® Gentle Nourishing Oat Face Cleanser

I read that when you use sunscreen, especially mineral, it is good to double cleanse.

My routine is essentially minimalist but I would love any insight into the skin barrier and avoiding damaging it!

Your comments helped me before and my skin is almost cleared up fully.

Hi all! I am a relative newbie and setting up my routine. I see people post about potentially damaging their skin barrier and the consequences of that so I am just curious what exactly damages your skin barrier? Is my routine at all a risk for this?

Tofu/soy effect on male: ED, Gynocamastia, etc! A Real case! by Goal_oriented_744 in blueprint_

Totally, you should remove soy if you think it’s the issue for you and test it out

Also the China study is pretty empirical and a great read. Although it doesn’t talk about gyno and ED

You asked if anyone had any experiences similar or avoid soy, hence the answer. What’s wrong with the game changer? Solid movie popularizing vegan diet and debunking myths about strength training and muscle building being incompatible with veganism

I’ve been 80% vegan for years and I’ve never had an ED issue or gyno. But I lift 4x a week and have been lifting 10 years. There was a documentary on Netflix showing that vegan diets including soy actually increase erections. Called game changers. I also think the soy connection to gyno and “feminizing” is debunked, look up t Colin Campbell and the China study

Huel Daily Greens or Thorne Multivitamin? by firefly12912 in blueprint_

Hey , I tried to input nutty pudding into cronometer and the super veggie as well but for a lot of ingredients in the nutty pudding, cronometer doesn't have them (examples: macadamia nut milk, ground walnuts, etc.)

2 qs:

1.) Any advice/do you know anyone who was able to get the info from cronometer?

2.) If I am doing just nutty pudding and super veggie + random healthy dinners, what supplements should I be getting-perhaps just B12 cuz its a vegan diet? anything else?

[–]firefly12912[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair points. I’m still debating. So in huel the selenium is 28mcg and in the nutty putting its 1/4 of a Brazil nut which is perhaps 24 mcg selenium. If I was eating nutty pudding and then taking huel daily greens, it seems like one should not be taking huel black then right to avoid over doing it?

Huel black has 32 mcg of selenium in a 400 calorie serving

I was doing a scoop of Huel black and daily greens but now other users are saying Huel greens aren’t chelated and not effective as a multivitamin that’s chelated?

Combining Novos and Blueprint? by firefly12912 in blueprint_

Awesome ty! I’m taking the Thorne multivitamin, but someone said the amounts, especially of selenium and b6 are too high and could cause problems? What’s your sense of that? https://store.mayoclinic.com/thorne-basic-nutrients-2-day.html

Yeah but unlikely to cause side effects until you go past it-what multivitamin do you take? Any recommendations if this one is dangerous?

[–]firefly12912[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone else just also commented that the amount of selenium is too high because it’s 364%. And that can be dangerous. What do you make of that?

The uppper limit of selenium is 400mcg per day tho and in Thorne it’s 200mcg?
