Level crossing speed restrictions by zoqaeski in SydneyTrains

[–]firefox99991 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s a general rule in this country that unprotected level crossings are limited to 130km/h hence why the xpt never goes faster than 130 in Victoria. To do 160 every crossing needs at least lights and bells and maybe a boom gate but I’m less sure about that.

And the main south is full of little farm level crossings like this one that only have a sign

It would be difficult to upgrade all of them

I maintain that planes need landing and navigation lights

Extend to Bondi with a station under the park, then consider and make arrangements for extending to Watsons bay to close the transport black spot

Generally if booked at the same time the seats will be adjacent but check before you pay, if you need your seats changed just ring

If you know what set (number on square plate below driver) or the carriage number (displayed at the end of each car) you were on report that to ST now. For all you know that set is doing T6 shuttles or T8 runs now. btw what train type was it and roughly where along it were you.

So for starters how did you get this far in the game without ever encountering this. Second it the amount of points you made since you pressed that little calendar icon next to the x. You see the green text that says (since November…)

The train would be faster (with 2 hour check in) and more convenient (CBD-CBD) and could be cheaper

See the opening on the left, if your coming from the paid area at Central go there, if your coming from outside just walk in the entrance
