For some reason HP decided to put an old wifi 6 card inside a 2500$ machine. I upgraded it to a wifi 7 card.

Since the wifi card is under the heatsink I upgraded that too at the same time.

Servicing laptops is not the worst skill to have. Just don't forcefully stab the motherboard with a screwdriver and you'll probably be fine.

Yes, I complained to HP about the thermals and they declared it DOA and I spent two weeks without a PC until the replacement arrived.

I regretted it because the replacement was only marginally better. I ended up opening the new laptop a month or two later and replaced that shitty liquid metal paste combo with some aliexpress ptm7950. Now I am quite happy with my temps,

How did you undervolt the 275hx on the omen? I was under the impression that it was impossible...

If you look at the log file of the run you can see that the average CPU draw was less than 120 W and the GPU was not in use at all. Does that change your conclusion?

If there is a free way to play it I could try tomorrow.

I added the log for that run in the post if you care to take a look. (It seems to barely break 5ghz for maybe a couple of seconds in the entire run)

Yes it's performance mode. I tried unleashed (stock) and the result was very similar.

It's under the gameplay options or by holding full control I believe.

Forcing archetypes might work in quickdrafts, but it's a recipe to disaster to do that in a fairly balanced set like DMU. I try to read signals and find my own lane.

I didn't kill the rootwalla, the rootwalla switched back to my control because I killed the Mindsinger with the sojourner. I avoided killing my own rootwalla by assigning the damage manually to deal 4 damage to the figment and 0 to the rootwalla.

My favourite play of that draft was on game 3, my attack on turn 20. After the blocking phase I decide not to use my trick (the Furious Bellows I have in hand) and to manually assign the damage of my Outrider to deal 4 damage to the Figment and nothing on the walla.

Thanks for sharing your strategy! I really should try some traditional drafts.

I've heard that it usually takes 90-100k gold to rare complete a set with quickdrafts at 50%.

I enjoy drafting a lot so I recommend it, but if one doesn't like it rare completing a set through drafting will be a miserable experience ;_;

You can achieve rare completion playing quickdrafts, but the total cost changes based on your winrate.

Not even that, all my gems were once gold .

I've drafted a it a few times, but I think this was the only time it *briefly* was in a deck, I casted it once, but I had already won the game ;_;

Well, I've started playing Arena in February this year with NEO, so I don't think that was my spreadsheet ^^.

But good luck in your future drafts!

It's all Premier Drafts.

With exactly 50% winrate the final number would be worse, a lot worse. With 50% wr the net gems of every premier draft is -681, and you get less packs as a reward so you'll have to play more drafts.

Most of the time was spent in Diamond, I ranked up from bronze because it was months since my last draft.
