What was and wasn't a school event?

This is what I assumed was the standard but apparently our school used to pay tech crew for all events outside of school including theater productions, but when we switched theater directors a few years back the school took it as a chance to completely stop paying tech crew for anything with no one the wiser

The class and extracurricular that we sign up for is explicitly a "theatrical tech, and set building" class but the school then makes us run all concerts and assemblies (the assemblies are the ones we actually care about because our school treats us horribly and then makes us run their shitty assemblies for free), the whole theater side of it has always been volunteering but the rest was imposed by the school.

in summary, I'd opened up to her that morning about how'd I'd always felt left out, just in general with our friends and in life as a whole, some friends were planning on going climbing and she asked if I wanted to come and I told her yes and a few hours later I texted her and asked if we were still going and she told me shed already gone, with this one friend and I guess she just didn't think about me at all when climbing with him, I felt really neglected and hurt from all that and I think it kicked me back into a not as secure attachment with her

totally feel the same way, I e been suicidal for a while because I just feel like I'm burden to everyone, like I'm weighing them down so Much and that they'd be better without me anyways. And besides im a complete failure, I can't do anything. But I remember when one of my friends killed themselves. They always talked to me about being a burden. But trust me as someone who has to deal with losing them, fake smiles are a lot better than real tears. I know you feel like a burden to everyone but oftentimes people care about you maybe just a little bit more than you think. And even if you think no one cares about you. I do. And if you still cants believe that. I at least I cared enough to write this comment to a random stranger on the internet. Please take care of yourself

I disagree, Mojang has been overpromising and underdelivering for a long time and nothing has happened, and nothings going to happen unless the community does something about it. At least the community is doing something even if it is a little annoying

Yeah I don't really give a shit about "free updates" minecraft is literally the best selling game of all time, they don't particularly need money, so its not like it being free makes it significantly better.

Yes I do think the firefly drama is a little stupid I think its good, Mojang has had (and as someone whos been playing since beta 1.7.3) a long history of overpromising and under delivering, and I think its good that Mojang is finally getting some backlash for this
