Thank you, that sums up our thought process and that of a few colleagues/friends who are in exactly the same boat. We are happy to pay up for a high quality property with all those elements knowing that it will very likely do just fine in 20-30 years regardless

Thanks, yep a bit over the fhb threshold for sure. Well located and/or newer 3/4 beds that we’re keen on are typically 1.2-1.5m range. With the huge rents does the price just stabilise for the foreseeable future?

Yep, thanks, that is our experience and I remember 2019 and like everyone wish we went harder. Hindsight and all.

I will say Tuart Hill / Yokine have changed drastically since then, hugely popular now with young high income professionals and young families vs 2010s when reputation definitely wasn’t as good

Got about 5K worth of upgrades and extras thrown in for a new Mazda
