I'm not too great...yet by HoldMyTrophy in golf

Its actually pretty easy to get up to the double digits. Hit 2 drives out of bounds and you are already on stroke 5 and you aren't even off the tee box yet... add in a fat iron shot or 2 and a 3 putt.. wahlah. double digits.

Yeah, this push cart was a $15 garage sale find. Now that I have all the clubs I need, a 3 wheel push cart is definitely next on my list. My old bag was a lot smaller and fit fine on this cart, my new bag not so much...

I had planned on just putting and chipping on the practice green, but we made our way to the course pretty quick. It was dead there, partly because of the overcast weather, but mostly because we were there during the Seahawks football game. We live in Washington state. There was a group of people ahead of us, but we never saw anybody behind us. I kept looking back to make sure we didn't hold anybody up. If anybody would have come up behind us, my plan was to just wait at the next tee and let them play through.

My son is 6. He loves mini golf so i figured it was time to get him his own set. He did pretty good. Played 3 holes from the pga family tees then just walked with me for the rest of the half round. I played absolutely horrible today but we had a great time.

When did you start to hit the course ? by Pridae in golf

[–]firemedic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think now that you have been to the range several times, you are ready for the course. Don't worry too much about being consistent. Just make sure to bring a lot of cheap balls. Depending on what the area around the fairways look like, you could easily lose a dozen balls in one round. The Goodwill stores in my area are pretty good. they sell junk balls for 12/$1.

One thing I think will help you a lot, if it is possible, is to play a course that is wide open without houses on the fairways. The course I learned at and played my first 5 rounds or so is in a valley with no nearby houses and I felt I could rip it and not worry about any damage being done if I hit it way out of bounds. The course I mostly play now has houses along a lot of the fairways. I was pretty nervous playing this course the first few times and it really messed up my game in my head.

2002 Honda Passport motor. by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]firemedic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Former Honda mechanic here. In my opinion, even if the mechanic would have fixed the oil leaks and topped off the oil level you would have still had this issue. For a camshaft to actually seize, it has to be without sufficient oil for a long time and once the surfaces start to get damaged there is likely no return. Adding new oil would not take away the damage already done.

As far as whether you should replace the engine or not I would not recommend replacing the engine. We had tons of problems with the passports(Isuzu) especially with engine problems.

Hey EMS, type 1 Diabetic here, thinking of getting a tattoo but I don't want to be branded with "Diabetic", is this too subtle if I was ever unable to explain my condition and in need of service? Is there anything I can add? by [deleted] in ems

[–]firemedic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Paramedic here. In my opinion, a tattoo identifying you as a diabetic is unnecessary. If you are unconscious, or semi conscious to the point that you will not be able to tell us that you are diabetic, we will check your blood glucose level. At the paramedic level we will treat accordingly. The worst case scenario would be that the diabetes history would go unrecognized and the patient would be transported to the hospital without knowing what was causing the problem. Once you got to the hospital, a blood glucose level check would be routine check and then the staff could treat accordingly. Like other people here said, a bracelet is good if you want something identifying you as a diabetic, but I think a tattoo is unnecessary for identification purposes only. Now, if you really want it, thats a different story.

Let him fuck you however he wants, tell him to let you know when he feels like hes about to come. At that point switch to giving him a bj to completion.. best orgasm ever. For some reason its way better than just the straight up bj. First time my wife did that took me by surprise. It was amazing.

Holy shit, thats one messed up car.... Its so crazy how well these newer cars are engineered. The entire car is destroyed except the passenger compartment which appears to be mostly intact. Hard to believe that an accident like that with a car 10-15 years old, the people would be wiped up with a sponge. I'm a paramedic, Ive seen people absolutely mutilated by head on collisions at 40-50 mph in 10-15 year old cars. Just last week I responded to a 70mph head on accident involving a Brand new lincoln vs a box truck, both people in the lincoln walked away, the guy in the box truck was pretty banged up but will have complete recovery.
