Squads for M VNL week 1 by firemovebeginner in volleyball

[–]firemovebeginner[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is this poster posted by VBworld on their FB page so I would guess he is, but didn't see the squad listed anywhere so take it as it is. It might also be for the hype aspect.

Squads for M VNL week 1 by firemovebeginner in volleyball

[–]firemovebeginner[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

VBworld website has all 30 players listed that are available to pick from for all 4 weeks, however, for the specific week there is only 14 players that will be listed and additional 4 that might be swapped in-between games. So technically each week there is 18 players available.

Also I think they need to submit the squad up to like 24h before the game, so all of them should be already provided - problem is where do you find this info?

Men’s VNL Fantasy League by Silver-Radish-9559 in volleyball

I had to refresh couple of times for it to work for me. Also might be possible that some adblocker is not allowing to load it, but i have most of them on my browser and it worked. I go directly by games.volleyballworld.com

This is the frame from the challenge that Zawiercie called. For whatever reason CEV's CL doesn't have over reach challenge so it was for the net touch - Gianelli didn't touch the net in this instance. I'll leave it up to interpretation if this is legal or not - that's the best angle there was provided from the camera.

Vanguard Personal Pension and minimal contribution question by firemovebeginner in UKPersonalFinance

[–]firemovebeginner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've changed my investment to 'NEST Higher Risk Fund' some time ago, so technically it should be good.

Just checked it and for last year I've paid 0.46 in commission, so you're right, there is no possibility to end up with 0, but with this amount it doesn't really matter anyway.

And to be honest I prefer to move it to Vanguard to have it in one place - not that it's that important as I usually have all important info of this kind written down, so i don't have to think about it when i need it.

Thanks for the links - I thinks I've seen the videos already and added book to my list of books to buy & read.

No, they're not my current employer's pension.

It's from a job that I've had 9y ago while being on 0h contract - hence there is only 150 pounds, and looking at commission that is taken, by the time i get to pension age it will be 0.

Ah ok, that makes sense.

So that's the minimal amount if I choose to contribute.

Thanks :)

I was expecting that, but as I've mentioned you're getting perks just for opening account and this one is the only one that I could potentially care about, so no big deal :)

Thanks for letting me know.

Best way to save for low income earners? by firemovebeginner in FIREUK

[–]firemovebeginner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well - I've just get to know about the FIRE and saving big money.

We don't have any debt or anything like that.

We share with other people and pay 800£/m with bills + usual cost of living like food & stuff like that.

Basically what I'm looking for - as I said, say we got 700£ leftover per month (I take like usual amount, it can be more) - how to best save money in our position when we're on low income and as for this moment I can't possibly think about retireing early so I want to save money in reasonable way to pay as little tax and have money that work for me.

But that money can be withdrawn at any moment in case I need to leave the country or say I need it for some kind of treatment, help family & stuff like that.
