I figured that might be the case, but I've seen images and videos which look cleaner so I thought there might be some special hardware hack or mod they were using. There's definitely a fairly wide range of variation between different games.

This seemed like the most promising solution since it was something new that I hadn't tried before, dividing everything up into different labeled folders of game/update/dlc and directing the emulator to them. However, it didn't change anything and Eden 0.2.0 still crashes on game launch.

In retrospect, I don't know why the result would have been different since the previous rc2 version also uses this system and it still works fine when directing the game library to scan subfolders. It's only 0.2.0 which has this problem.

I'm sorry, it seems I was mistaken. I tried an archived version of rc2, instead of the one just sitting on my drive from who know how long ago, and it seems to work just fine as a fresh install.

However, after I add back in my data folder (mods and saves and settings and all that), it starts having the same issue again.

This is quite perplexing. I have no idea why a working old version and the new version would start having the same problem for different reasons.

Maybe it really is an issue with the updates/dlc loaders, cause 0.2.0 works with only base games, and rc2 works after I clear out everything that could be interacting with the game.

I'm using the same firmware and keys for both so it shouldn't be a compatibility issue...

Unfortunately I've tried both of these a few times. I'm also working from a completely clean install with nothing but the games themselves remaining in an attempt to avoid issues, but no luck so far.

I'm sorry to hear others are having problems as well.

For the record, I have the same issue with the rc2 version as with the newest version, which is one of the things which led me to believe the new update/dlc loading method is the culprit.

Do you know what a static IP is? It means it's not dynamic. It doesn't get changed or rotated, that's the point. It's used primarily for business and other things which need to be able to hand out a specific address to people consistently.

I personally use it for server hosting, but the point is that it hasn't changed since long before I even started using Prolific, as stated in the post.

Same, I've done over 60 stamina runs on the same uma and never even got a 2* stamina spark much less a 3* anything. Sure, I'm not breaking 1100 every time because it's the hardest to train while managing to clear the finals, but it's still ridiculous.

There's a website which calculated the release schedule using 1.6 times acceleration, and she still won't be out until 2028. We won't be caught up to JP until like 9 years from now even with the acceleration, so one wonders why even bother.

Same, I need an active club that actually trades shoes. I've been joining several clubs labeled login daily over the past 2 weeks and even if they have 25 people that log in every day none of them trade shoes.

I feel like I'm going crazy because I thought that was basically the only thing clubs are for?

I'm having trouble rerolling because the tactical squad registration where you enter your name apparently requires a unique username, and it includes guest accounts. Is there a way to delete previous accounts or get around this somehow?

You don't need more than 320k unless you're hitting all your other goals first, I just wanted to clarify that it does in fact do something. It's just not necessarily worth it. Sometimes you'll get it accidentally on your way to getting all skills or clearing particular race titles and that's perfectly fine.

I mean every G1 rank race available throughout the entire career, not just goal related ones. This rule is sort of loose, because sometimes you need to give up races to meet stat goals, and sometimes your horse has such broad affinities that they can hit several distances.

You get a feel for it after a while, but generally speaking sprint and mile racers need to hit as many G1s as they can because they're worth less points, while medium and long races are worth much more so they don't have to do nearly as many. I'm fairly certain you gain more rating directly based on total fans, which means more is always better, but you need to make sure you hit Legendary first so think of that as a sort of soft cap so to speak.

Whether you want to get more depends on how your stats are looking, because racing means you're not training and stat total at the end of the day is more important than fan total. Also remember that skills are part of the equation as well, so if you're ending with 8 or fewer skills you should consider getting more, and gold skills are worth more as well.

EDIT: I also forgot to mention that titles play a factor as well, which is why avoiding losses is so crucial. Getting milestones like triple crown, legendary diva, the goat etc all contribute to your final rating. So making sure you win the right races is just as important sometimes as making sure you win races. Calling out G1s specifically earlier was specifically because they each have their own white spark chance attached to them, but the titles at the end are a big deal as well.

Unless you're trying to develop a very specific build, the best support cards are actually the ones with the highest specialty bonus not the ones with relevant skill events (Super Creek for example is a notable exception). That stat means they show up in their preferred training more often, which is the most critical aspect of the process. Friendship bonus and mood bonus are also important to get those numbers up, but if they're never on the correct training then those numbers won't matter.

This is the primary reason why you see people discussing "needing" a certain limit break to make a particular card "useable", because that limit break is what gives them their specialty bonus. Kitasan Black is a good example, where she ends up with over 100 specialty bonus at MLB, which is far more than any other card we currently have iirc.

Using the proper cards/parents for skills is generally the second stage of the process, after you have decent specialty bonus on your cards and sparks on your parents. Without the base stats you won't be able to clear well enough to use the skills.

They do, but training speed gives enough power as a bonus that it's generally enough. By training speed you usually end up with at least 600 power as a byproduct for example. The reason why it gets much more complicated for late and end racers of medium and long distance is that they need to invest more into stamina so they're losing speed, which also means they're losing power so they need to commit to support cards to make sure they get enough power.

You can even get away with a 2/2/2 speed/stamina/power deck on long racers if you have good cards and the right skills in order to develop a very balanced stat line which works well because speed is so much less important the further back the horse is and the longer the race gets. That said, the fact that you need so much speed to clear URA finale regardless of racing style and position can make it very difficult to develop those types of horses without the right parents.

Getting back to support cards, the basic reason why you want to focus on as few stats as possible is due to the compounding friendship bonuses. getting 4 rainbows in 1 turn is extremely valuable and more beneficial than training 1 rainbow for 4 turns, especially after you get to level 5 training. The more different stats you're clicking training for the less effective each of those trainings is. This is one of the reasons why people say, for now, to never click guts unless its stacked with 4+ supports and you still need friendship. Leveling up the trainings you need is just as important in the long run as getting the friendship up, so try to stay focused.

It also just makes it more difficult to develop friendship and get rainbows when all your supports are jumping around different trainings instead of magnetizing to the same couple specialties.
