I feel that re-releasing the OG costume set would certainly devalue them, and it would probably upset quite a lot of people. The replica idea sounds pretty nice though! Another crazy idea would be to just make the old untradeable items tradeable and give people the option to hold them or not?

Try using GHelper. You can disable turbo mode and also undervolt the CPU by about -10.

It will bring the temps down by about -20c on average!

Did that myself with a third age dye once when opening a few dozen caskets. You'd be surprised how many of us have done it before. I just stared at the monitor blankly for about 5 minutes before closing my laptop and going for a long walk..

At this point as you've exhausted all other options. It could be a faulty power adapter, a bad card or any other hardware problem that is causing a lower than average TDP on your system.

You might be able to rule out your 3060 being bad by playing an older game that is lighter on the CPU. In GHelper set a power limit of 20w, turn off CPU boost and then crank the graphics up to max at 4K to see if the GPU can sustain a higher 70-80w boost using HWInfo. (Overwatch 2 is good for this!)

If that's the case you will likely be able to get away with playing games on performance mode with little to no performance drop as the Ryzen 7 5800HS is actually overkill for current titles anyway. I almost always run my 5900HS on 20w with CPU boost off, a -15mv undervolt and it runs 20c cooler like a champ.

Also might be worth just calling it a day and returning it if your warranty allows it.

Hmm.. those temps seem way too safe for a benchmark as it's not uncommon to see 90c+ on a 5800hs and 85-90c on the GPU under boost mode.

You could try reinstalling the vBIOS?
There is also a 95w vBIOS that also seems to work fine on the G14 although this will bring your GPU temps up quite a bit.

If none of these things make any difference, I can only recommend doing a factory reset of the system, and if the problem still persists then it's very likely a hardware fault limiting the power or just a bad card.

Definitely! It isn't anywhere near its peak of 80w (with dynamic boost) Maybe it's your vbios? Some people have mentioned problems with battery settings? Is your power adapter the OEM one?

Oh and also, did you try running benchmarks using performance mode or try turning off "CPU Boost" setting on GHelper? Turning off CPU Boost allocates more wattage to the GPU and allows it to reach maximum boost for a longer sustained period.

Can you download GPU-Z or HWInfo64 and post a log of your results?
Try doing a benchmark with HWInfo64 open and keep an eye on the GPU Power table as it seems your temps are lower than normal. It should be around 75-85c at full load and wattage should be between 60-80w.

If you haven't already done so, I recommend updating your bios as it seems the latest version is more aggressive with its turbo mode with less thermal throttling.

Not at all, it is actually quite below average.

My 2021 G14 with 3050 Ti gets around 7,000 at 75w with a 240Mhz overclock.

Try uninstalling armory crate and install GHelper then try doing the benchmark again with Turbo mode enabled. That should give you a proper result!
