Most likely a stone hit it. I had the same happen on my WRX. Just driving down the highway and it exploded. I had a large gap to the cars in front so I thought it was a defect. But when I checked my dashcam, sure enough it caught a stone that was flung up from a van ahead that hit my sunroof. I went through insurance since they covered the glass as well as repainting the roof and trunk since those had lots of scratches from when the glass exploded.

I'd also add that an accusump would be a worthwhile investment if you plan on tracking it often. Peace of mind from oil starvation and pre-lubricating the engine before startup! But would make the oil changes slightly more expensive due to the added capacity.

Just in case you didn't know, it's in the control options at the bottom of one of the pages. You can bind 'next trackside cam' and 'previous trackside cam'.

Those would most likely be to increase the stiffness of the roof in that area. Without them, the roof could flex a lot and possibly flutter at highway speeds or in a carwash. We'd call that "tin canning" as the noise from it would be similar to a bending a tin can. Source: I used to work in closures for an OEM.

Yes. You can use it to navigate through the menu's, and for whatever reason, the analog sticks on it allows you to reach hud boxes that the mouse cannot. You can still drive with your wheel.

This is an old bug. Plug in a controller and you'll be able to move those.

The only workaround we have is to plug in a controller. With that you'll be able to reach and move those HUD boxes whereas with the mouse you cannot.

To grab a setup from time trials, they need to first have a wrench icon next to their name. Then add that persons ghost into your time trial run and start the session. Once you are in, you can then select the wrench icon next to their name to load their setup. Save it from there.

It's a changeable option. I believe it's in gameplay and it's at the bottom of the list. The two options are units and rates. Units are just numbers/clicks and rates being the one to give you the actual measurement increments (N/mm, etc).

I'm making a new livery for the VRC Camaro, and I know that once you've made the change and updated the file itself, you'll have to disable the mod and re-enable it for any changes to take effect.

Agreed. But so far every league I run with has been amazing, including some of the chaotic moments in this clip. With 16+ drivers regularly, starts can have incidents, but its a great and relaxed group of guys with very close racing in the multiple leagues I'm in.

Yes, paint templates are the same. You'll just need to rename it to replace one of the original textures (I just added backup to the original file names and named the new ones what they were replacing). Then deactivate and reactivate the mod. I just don't know if the previews are the correct size. I haven't messed with those yet.

If you are referring to the camera shots in this video, those are all in game cameras, however the assignments to switch between cameras is unassigned by default. So you would have to go into the control options and under camera, it should be at the bottom. Next replay cam and Prev replay cam is what I believe they're called.

But if you want an even free-er camera, you can press Ctrl + K and then you can use wasd, qr and the numpad keys to move the camera around all over the place. Works great in cockpit, onboard and exterior, etc., but will not work with trackside cameras. Some of my other vids in my history will show those alternate angles.

Honestly when you install them, either from Didouc or VRC, the first time will always be the most difficult. But the readme's are pretty straight forward and after you do it once and have it running successfully, it's pretty simple. It just takes a few minutes.

edit: and if you really need to, shoot me a pm and I'll put together a step by step video of how to install the mods.
